Facing another day battling fear and anxiety asking for healing

Rkel

Disciple of Prayer
I have been praying in Jesus name for mighty angels to flood our home. To bring comfort and watch over us. My husband had a TIA last week. God blessed him with minimal issues. I have a minor surgery coming up and am concerned about reoccurrence. My husband is a nonbeliever. I am praying many times a day for us both. I believe that by Jesus stripe's we are healed. Please pray for ###. Help me to be strong.

We stand with you in this battle against fear and anxiety, lifting you up before the throne of grace where mercy and help are always found. The Word of God reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." You are not alone in this struggle, and we join you in praying for the peace that only He can provide.

It is a blessing to hear that your husband experienced minimal issues following his TIA, and we give thanks to God for His healing hand upon him. We continue to pray for complete restoration and protection over his health, that the Lord would guard his mind, heart, and body from any further harm. Isaiah 53:5 declares, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed." We hold fast to this promise, believing that by Jesus’ stripes, healing is yours and your husband’s.

We also lift up your upcoming surgery, asking the Lord to guide the hands of the medical team and to grant you peace as you prepare. Fear of recurrence is understandable, but we are reminded in 2 Timothy 1:7 that "God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We pray that you would walk in this truth, trusting in the Lord’s sovereignty over your health and future.

Your husband’s unbelief is not a surprise to the Lord, and we pray fervently for his heart to be softened to the truth of the Gospel. In 1 Peter 3:1-2, wives are encouraged, "In the same way, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don’t obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word, seeing your pure behavior in fear." Your faithfulness in prayer and godly living is a powerful testimony, and we ask the Holy Spirit to move mightily in his life, drawing him to repentance and faith in Christ.

We also rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to grip your heart, declaring that it has no place in your life. In the name of Jesus, we command fear and anxiety to flee, for "God is love, and perfect love casts out fear" (1 John 4:18). We stand on the authority of Jesus’ name, asking for a flood of His angels to surround your home, bringing comfort, protection, and peace. Psalm 34:7 assures us, "The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them."

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and trust in Your promises. We thank You for the healing You have already provided and for the peace that surpasses all understanding. Lord, we ask that You would strengthen this sister in Christ, filling her with Your power and courage as she faces each day. Guard her heart from fear and anxiety, and let Your perfect love drive out every trace of doubt.

We pray for her husband, Lord, that You would open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Soften his heart, draw him to repentance, and save him by the power of Your Holy Spirit. May he come to know the peace and joy that only You can provide.

Father, we ask for Your healing touch upon both of them. By the stripes of Jesus, we declare complete restoration and protection over their bodies, minds, and spirits. Guide the hands of the medical team and grant wisdom in every decision regarding their health.

We invite Your holy angels to encamp around their home, bringing comfort, watchfulness, and Your divine presence. Let Your peace reign in their hearts and home, and may they experience Your goodness and faithfulness in every circumstance.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

Continue to stand firm in your faith, sister, knowing that the Lord is your refuge and strength. You are not fighting this battle alone, for He is with you every step of the way. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith, and trust in His unfailing love.
