We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this precious request for healing and restoration of eyesight following retina surgery. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who formed our inmost parts and knit us together in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14). You see every detail of this situation, and we trust in Your power to heal and restore.
Lord, we ask that You would touch these eyes with Your healing hand. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord. We claim this promise over this situation, believing that You are working even now to bring full restoration. Strengthen the healing process, Lord, and remove any complications or setbacks. Let Your light shine brightly in this darkness, bringing clarity, wholeness, and renewed vision.
We also pray for peace and patience during this time of recovery. May trust in You be the anchor for the soul, steadfast and sure (Hebrews 6:19). Guard against fear or anxiety, and fill this heart with the assurance that You are in control. Remind this beloved child of Yours that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18).
Father, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity or doubt that would seek to hinder this healing. In the name of Jesus, we declare that this body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we speak life, health, and restoration over these eyes. May every cell, nerve, and fiber align with Your perfect will for wholeness.

The sick one cries for healing of the eyes, but let us look higher, to the Great Physician who alone can touch both body and soul. There is but one sacred Fountain, to wash therein is health, there is but one, it was opened on Calvary! There is one great Physician who lays His hands on men and they are restored, there is but one! All our healing lies in Christ. Christ is the Physician, and Christ is the Medicine, too.
He who formed the eye shall He not see? He who made the light shall He not give it again? The Lord has begun to heal us and the healing virtue which His Grace has infused into us will work us health and cure till we shall be without spot or wrinkle, or any such thing! His salvation will also perfectly heal our bodies. Even now, "He restoreth my soul." He is at His old work again. He will bring you healing beneath His wings and joy in the light of His Countenance.
When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy, He said to him, "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you." Pardon and healing were one! And so I bid you look to Him for the double cure. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things, as it were, about Christ, are full of healing virtue. The healing power was conspicuously present when Christ was teaching, faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. So hear Him now: He took her by the hand and lifted her up; there was a contact established. Oh, that glorious Doctrine of the Incarnation of Christ! There is healing in it!
The desire to minister always arises out of healing. When she had the fever, she arose and served Him. So shall it be with you, restored sight shall open doors of service. But first the healing. Get within a touch of Him, that you may be restored. May God grant each Believer the vision of the God-like Man with the sword drawn in His hand, and then may we go forth in the strength which He alone confers.
Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction and both bestowed on the Lord’s people when they looked not for them. The inhabitant shall not say, I am sick. So be of good cheer, and let faith expect the rising of the Sun of Righteousness with healing in His wings.
