We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious request for healing and restoration of eyesight following retina surgery. Father God, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed our inmost parts and knit us together in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14). You see every detail of this situation, and we trust in Your perfect will and timing.
Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon these eyes. You opened the eyes of the blind during Your earthly ministry (Matthew 9:27-30), and we believe that nothing is impossible for You (Luke 1:37). Restore what has been damaged, strengthen what is weak, and bring clarity where there is uncertainty. We declare that by Your stripes, healing is possible (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promises.
We also pray for peace and patience during this recovery. Surgery can bring anxiety and fear, but we know that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Calm any worry or doubt, and fill this heart with trust in Your goodness. Remind them that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
Father, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity or discouragement that may try to linger. In the name of Jesus, we command it to leave, for it is written that the enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but You came that we may have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare victory over this situation through Christ, who has overcome the world (John 16:33).
We thank You for the skilled hands of the surgeons and medical team, and we ask that You continue to guide them. Give them wisdom and precision as they care for this body, which is Your temple (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). May this healing bring glory to Your name, so that others may see Your power and turn to You.
Lord, we also lift up any spiritual needs that may be present. If there is unforgiveness, bitterness, or sin that needs to be addressed, reveal it and bring repentance. Your Word tells us that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We want nothing to hinder this healing, so we surrender every part of this life to You.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His blood that we have access to Your throne of grace, and we come boldly, knowing that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will.
May this time of waiting be filled with Your presence, and may this healing be a testimony of Your faithfulness. We trust You, Lord, and we thank You in advance for what You are going to do. Amen.
