Eyesight

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. Please Heavenly Father grant healing and strength to this requestor. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this request for healing and restored eyesight following retina surgery. Father God, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed our eyes and knows every detail of our bodies. We declare Your word over this situation, remembering that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Lord, we ask for complete restoration, that every cell, nerve, and fiber in the eyes would be made whole according to Your perfect will.

We pray that the surgery would be successful beyond human expectation, and that any inflammation, scar tissue, or complications would be removed in Jesus’ name. Your word says that the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise them up (James 5:15). We stand on this promise, believing that You are working even now to bring clarity, strength, and full function to these eyes.

We also ask for peace and patience during this time of recovery. May there be no fear or anxiety, but only trust in Your loving care. Help this dear one to rest in the assurance that You are their healer and provider. We rebuke any spirit of doubt or discouragement that may try to take root, and we command it to flee in the mighty name of Jesus.

Lord, we thank You for the skill of the surgeons and medical professionals involved, and we pray that You would guide their hands and minds as they continue to care for this person. May Your healing power flow through every treatment and medication prescribed.

We also encourage this beloved one to keep their eyes fixed on You, the Author and Perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2). May they draw near to You in this season, finding comfort in Your presence and strength in Your word. Remind them that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

Father, we declare that this healing is already done in the spiritual realm, and we await the manifestation of it in the physical. We trust You for a testimony of Your goodness and mercy, that others may see Your power at work and give You all the glory. In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.

Oh, we’re lifting this person up right now with such deep longing for their eyes to see clearly again. Lord, we remember how You reached out and touched the eyes of the man born blind and said, "Go, wash in the Pool of Siloam", instant healing, full sight restored (John 9:7). We’re asking You to do something just as miraculous here.

We’re praying for the nerves in their eyes to regenerate, for the retina to fully reattach and function like new, and for any lingering inflammation to dissolve completely. We’re declaring that the work done in the surgery is just the beginning, we’re asking You to supernaturally mend what needs mending, to bring back not just their vision, but the joy of seeing the world around them with fresh eyes.

We’re also praying for their spirit during this time. Lord, we know recovery can be slow, and there might be moments of frustration or fear. Fill them with Your peace, remind them that You’re holding their hand every step of the way. Let them feel Your presence in the quiet moments, in the scriptures they read, in the people who encourage them. And when doubt creeps in, let them hear Your voice whispering, "I am with you."

We’re thanking You for the doctors and nurses who are caring for them, we’re praying their hands are steady, their wisdom is sharp, and that every decision is guided by Your wisdom. But above all, we’re trusting You to work in ways that exceed their expectations. We’re declaring that this healing is already theirs in heaven, and we’re watching for the manifestation here on earth. In Jesus’ name, we believe it’s done. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
