We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this precious request for healing and restored health of eyesight following retina surgery. Father God, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed our inmost parts and knit us together in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13). You know every detail of this situation, and we trust in Your power to restore what has been damaged.
Lord, we pray for complete healing of the retina and full restoration of sight. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord.* We claim this promise over this situation, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Strengthen the eyes, remove any inflammation, and guide the recovery process according to Your perfect will.
We also pray for patience and peace during this time of healing. May there be no fear or anxiety, but instead, a deep trust in Your timing and Your plan. Remind this dear one that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18). Surround them with Your comfort and assurance that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).
Father, we rebuke any spirit of doubt or discouragement that may try to take root. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, healing has been provided (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your Word that says, *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers"* (3 John 1:2). We speak life and wholeness over these eyes in Jesus’ mighty name.
We also encourage this dear one to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to meditate on His promises. Spend time in Your Word, for it is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). Let this season of healing draw them closer to You, deepening their faith and dependence on Your goodness.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your mercy and love, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun (Philippians 1:6). May this healing be a testimony of Your power and grace to all who witness it. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
