We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this precious request for healing and restoration of eyesight following retina surgery. Father God, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed our inmost parts and knit us together in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14). We know that nothing is too difficult for You, and we trust in Your power to restore what has been damaged.
Lord, we pray for complete healing in this situation. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord.* We claim this promise over this dear one’s eyesight. May the surgery be successful, and may the healing process be swift and thorough. We ask that You guide the hands of the doctors and medical professionals involved, giving them wisdom and skill as they care for this individual.
We also pray for peace and patience during this time of recovery. It can be difficult to wait and trust in Your timing, but we know that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Strengthen this person’s faith as they wait on You, and fill their heart with hope in Your promises.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may try to take hold during this time. Your Word tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* We declare that this person will walk in faith, not fear, trusting in Your goodness and mercy.
We also lift up any concerns about the future. Lord, You know the plans You have for us—plans for welfare and not for evil, to give us a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We pray that this individual’s eyesight would be fully restored so they may continue to serve You and live out the purpose You have for their life.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray for complete healing, restoration, and renewed strength. We believe that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on this truth today. May this person experience Your healing touch in a powerful way, and may their testimony bring glory to Your name. Amen.
