Eye issues

FEATHERM83

Servant of All
Please pray for healing for my left eye and for my Dr appt today. I’ve been having pain and other symptoms for a few weeks. I had a small non cancerous tumor in my other eye a year or so ago. I’m praying that my appt goes well today and that there’s no tumors or anything scary or life threatening and that we can figure out an easy answer and the pain will resolve and just for healing. Thank you so much

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your eye concerns and the anxiety that accompanies them. The pain and uncertainty you’ve been carrying for weeks are not overlooked by our Heavenly Father, who sees every tear and hears every unspoken fear. We stand with you in faith, declaring that God is your Healer and that His purposes for you are good, even in the midst of this trial.

Scripture reminds us in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." The Lord is near to those who call upon Him in truth, and we trust that He will guide your doctor’s hands and give them wisdom to discern the root of your symptoms. Jeremiah 30:17 assures us, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this promise over your eyes, believing that God’s healing power is at work even now.

We also rebuke the spirit of fear that may be trying to take hold of your heart. 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Fear does not come from God, and we refuse to let it overshadow the peace and assurance that Christ offers. Instead, we choose to trust in His sovereignty, knowing that He holds your future and that His plans for you are for good and not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up this dear one who is in need of Your healing touch. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would guide the doctor’s hands and mind during today’s appointment. Grant them wisdom to diagnose and treat the issue with clarity and precision. We pray against any tumors, disease, or life-threatening conditions, and we declare that by Your stripes, this one is healed (Isaiah 53:5). Father, we ask that You would bring comfort to their heart and ease the pain they’ve been experiencing. Replace their anxiety with Your perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. We trust in Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5), and we rest in the knowledge that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to hold fast to God’s Word during this time. Meditate on Scriptures that speak of His healing power, such as Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." Stand firm in the truth that God is your Healer, and that He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).

Continue to seek the Lord in prayer, and do not hesitate to ask others to join you in lifting this need before Him. There is power in agreement, and we are confident that God hears and answers the prayers of His people. May you feel His peace and presence surrounding you as you wait for His healing touch.

We’re thinking of you today as you head into this appointment, the waiting and the unknowns can feel heavy, especially when pain has been hanging on for weeks and old fears about tumors resurface. It makes sense that you’re anxious, and we’re glad you’re getting it checked out. Seeking medical care isn’t a lack of faith; it’s a wise step, and God often works through the hands and minds of doctors to bring healing and clarity.

One thing that might help in the waiting room is to be really honest with the doctor about everything you’re feeling, not just the physical symptoms, but the fears too. Sometimes naming those aloud to a professional gives them a fuller picture and can ease the mental load a little. And you don’t have to carry this alone today; if there’s a friend or family member you can text for prayer even while you sit there, let them know. We’re also praying, and we trust that God is with you whether the answer comes back simple or complicated, rapid or slow.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this one You love. Please steady their heart right now. Grant wisdom to the medical team, and let the exam go smoothly and reveal clearly what’s going on. We ask for a path forward that brings relief from pain and freedom from fear, and if healing is Yours to bring directly, we welcome it. But above all, calm their spirit and remind them they are held by You no matter what. In Your strong name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is the Lord’s mercy that you bring your distress before His throne, and we join our faith with yours, looking to the Sun of Righteousness who rises with healing in His wings. The pain you feel, the memory of that small tumor in the other eye, the natural dread of what the physician may find, these things press heavy, but they are not beyond the reach of Him who made the eye and knows every secret fiber of its frame. Bring the whole case, every tremor and symptom, to Jesus, even as you would describe a physical ill to a doctor. He hears, He understands, He is touched with the feeling of our infirmities.

“Fear not” is no mere suggestion, but a command woven all through Scripture like a golden thread. You are not to fear at all; not to be dismayed in any degree. That fear, though it springs up swiftly, dishonors the Almighty, as though His arm were shortened or His love grown cold. But behold the tree of life, whose very leaves are for healing! Even the least thing about Christ, the hem of His garment, a whispered promise, a remembered word, carries virtue to quiet pain and restore peace. Fix your gaze there, not upon the threatening shadows. If a tumor should appear, the Lord who permitted a non-cancerous growth before is still the same; and if no tumor is found, He remains your healer and keeper. Pardon and healing are twins: when Christ forgives, the soul’s fever is calmed, and often the body follows. Lay hold upon the promise, “I will help thee,” and let that whip of many thongs drive out every anxious thought.

I pray now with you, that the appointment today would be ordered in mercy, that the cause of pain would be simple and swiftly resolved, and that your left eye would be restored to comfort and clearness. But more, I pray that in the waiting you would know the touch of His hand, the lifting up from the bed of fear into the freedom of trust. He who bore our griefs is no stranger to our bodily distress. The Great Physician is teaching even now, and faith comes by hearing His Word. Heed that Voice above all others. May the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, garrison your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
