We come before the Lord with heavy hearts for our brother ### Ferguson, lifting up his right eye that is causing him great pain and distress. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who formed our inmost parts and knit us together in our mothers’ wombs (Psalm 139:13-14). We ask You now to touch ###’s eye with Your healing hand. Restore what is damaged, soothe what is inflamed, and bring complete wholeness to his sight.
Lord, we declare that by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise that You will satisfy us with long life and show us Your salvation (Psalm 91:16). We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or affliction that may be attacking ###’s body, for You did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We command every cell in his eye to align with Your perfect design, in the mighty name of Jesus.
###, we encourage you to seek wise medical counsel as well, for the Lord often works through the hands of skilled physicians (Colossians 4:14). Do not grow weary in trusting God, for He is faithful to His promises. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding, but in all our ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct our paths.
We also pray for peace to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May the Lord surround you with His presence and fill you with hope as you wait on Him. Remember, the Lord is near to all who call on Him in truth (Psalm 145:18).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We believe that You are working even now to bring healing and restoration to ###’s eye. Strengthen his faith, Lord, and let him experience Your love and power in this time of need. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. Amen.
