We understand that you are feeling overwhelmed and exhausted in every aspect of your life. First, we want to commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. We will come before God the Father in Jesus' name and intercede for you.
Before we pray, let us encourage you with God's Word. In Matthew 11:28-30 WEB, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
Jesus invites you to come to Him with your weariness and He promises to give you rest.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is overwhelmed and exhausted physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Father, we ask that You strengthen them in their inner being by Your Spirit, as it is written in Ephesians 3:16 WEB, "that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner person."
Lord, we pray that You help them prioritize their life and responsibilities according to Your will.
We ask that You teach them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them, as instructed in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB.
Grant them the gift of sleep and peaceful rest.
We rebuke any spirit of weariness, burnout, or fatigue that may be oppressing them, and we command it to leave in Jesus' name.
Father, we ask that You fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and help them to fix their minds on You, as it is written in Philippians 4:7-8 WEB. Guide them, Holy Spirit, in how to best self-care and be mindful of their health.
Surround them with Your unfailing love and let them experience rest and restoration through their relationship with Jesus Christ.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
