Disciple of Prayer
Need to do rehab exercises in the afternoon at home and at night at exercise facility along with stretching and breathing exercises for posture, flexibility and lung health, have to do it everyday as body is weak, need money to move overseas to get operations and to get health products and supplements and pharmaceuticals that I can't get where I live and to move overseas to live, also to think positive and thankful thoughts every night and day instead of negative thoughts

We hear your earnest request for strength, discipline, and provision as you seek healing and restoration for your body. The journey you describe, daily rehab exercises, stretching, breathing work, and the pursuit of medical care, requires great perseverance, and we stand with you in prayer, asking the Lord to sustain you in every step.

First, we lift up your physical needs to the Great Physician, the One who formed your body and knows its every weakness. Scripture reminds us in Psalm 139:14, "I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." Even when our bodies feel frail, we are fearfully and wonderfully made by God’s design. We pray that He would strengthen your muscles, improve your flexibility, and restore your lung health according to His will. May each stretch, each breath, and each movement become an act of worship, a declaration of trust in His healing power.

We also pray for the discipline to remain faithful in your routine. Proverbs 16:3 tells us, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." When weariness or discouragement creeps in, may the Holy Spirit remind you that your labor is not in vain. We ask God to fill you with endurance, joy in the progress, no matter how small, and gratitude for the ability to move and breathe at all. Let your heart be anchored in Philippians 4:13: "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."

Regarding your financial need to move overseas for medical care, we bring this burden before the Lord, who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and promises to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We pray for open doors, wise counsel, and unexpected provision. May God guide your steps to the right resources, the right people, and the right timing. Trust in His faithfulness, for He has not forgotten you. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."

We also gently encourage you in the battle for your mind. Negative thoughts can weigh heavily, but we are called to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). When discouragement arises, replace it with truth: "The Lord is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him" (Psalm 28:7). We pray that each night and each morning, your heart would overflow with gratitude, not for your circumstances, but for God’s unchanging love and faithfulness. May the peace of Christ guard your heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).

Finally, we want to remind you that true healing, body, mind, and spirit, comes through a relationship with Jesus Christ. If you have not placed your faith in Him as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to consider the words of John 3:16: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." Salvation is found in no one else (Acts 4:12), and it is through Christ that we have access to the Father in prayer. If you have already surrendered your life to Him, we rejoice with you and pray that your faith would grow deeper as you walk this path.

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, lifting up every need to Your throne of grace. Strengthen their body, Lord, and grant them the discipline to persevere in their exercises. Provide for their financial needs, open the right doors for medical care, and guide their steps to the help they require. Guard their mind from negativity, and fill their heart with gratitude, peace, and trust in You. May they experience Your healing touch, Your provision, and Your presence in tangible ways. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.

We hear the weight of having to push through rehab exercises every single day when your body feels weak, and the financial strain of needing medical care you can’t get where you are. That kind of consistency takes real grit, and you’re not alone in it. Even small, faithful steps are building toward the strength you’re asking God for.

What you said about wanting to fill your mind with positive, thankful thoughts instead of negative ones is wise. The way we think genuinely affects our bodies and spirits, hopefulness and gratitude can unlock health dynamics that aren’t available when we’re stuck in despair. This isn’t about pretending things are fine, but about choosing, moment by moment, to anchor your mind in what is true and good, however small. That might be as simple as noting one thing you’re grateful for while you stretch or breathe deeply. It can turn the routine from a chore into a quiet offering.

For the rehab itself, pinning the exercises to something you already do each afternoon and evening, maybe a phone alarm paired with a short prayer, could help you stay on track without draining your willpower. And when your thoughts spiral negative, you can gently, without self-criticism, redirect them back toward a single concrete thing God has given you that day.

We also bring before the Lord the real need for money to move overseas, purchase supplements and pharmaceuticals, and secure operations. Those are significant burdens, and we trust He cares for your body and your life.

Let’s pray:

Father, thank You that You see every effort this person makes to care for the body You gave. Grant the daily discipline to do these rehab exercises, and let that time become a place of encounter with You. Guard their mind from negativity; help them notice and hold onto what is good, true, and praiseworthy. We ask for Your tangible provision, open the right doors for treatment, supply resources, and guide them in each practical decision. Bring healing to lungs, posture, and every weakened place, and restore hope. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The body is weak, and the spirit often faints within it, yet there is a tree whose leaves are for the healing of the nations. That tree is Christ, and the very least thing about Him carries restoring virtue. You speak of exercises for the lungs and limbs, stretching and breathing, and these may serve a season, but the great healing balm flows from Calvary. There the pardoning word was spoken, and with it came strength for the palsied man to rise and walk. Pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction; when the Lord forgives, He often sends the cure of the body as well. Seek first the remedy for the soul, and the other needs will be added in His time.

You desire to think positive and thankful thoughts instead of negative ones. This is well, for right thinking leads to right turning. The psalmist said, "I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies." Let your reflections flow upon the days past and the weakness present, but let them lead you not to despair, but to the foot of the cross. No man's case is hopeless who looks to Jesus. When distracting thoughts swarm like flies, drive them away with the honey of the Word. Hear the Gospel with heed; let it not be a running deer that escapes your aim, but take it personally. The Lord is present to heal when His Word is taught and received.

There is a desire for means to move overseas, to obtain operations and health products. Yet remember, the healing power of Christ is not bound by geography or apothecary. He can touch you here, now, as you read His promise. The woman with the issue of blood spent all she had on physicians, but one touch of His garment made her whole. Nevertheless, it is not wrong to seek relief; the Lord uses means. But trust Him entirely. If He lays you on a bed of languishing, it may be to teach you that His grace is sufficient. And know that healing, when it comes, is not for idleness. Peter's wife's mother, risen from fever, immediately ministered to Him. The desire to serve arises out of healing. So bring your request to the throne, but bring first your sin-sick soul. Say, "Lord, forgive me," and healing will come from the pardoning hand. Then, whether at home or abroad, your strength will be renewed, and your mouth filled with thanksgiving.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

When you speak of your daily exercises and the weakness of your body, I hear a soul weighed down. Yet it is in such weakness that the power of God is perfected. Do not look upon these trials as misfortune, but as the discipline of a loving Father. The Apostle says, “Pursued, yet not forsaken; smitten down, yet not destroyed.” These daily deaths of the flesh are permitted not for your defeat, but that you might rise again in faith. Will you then murmur over the very means by which God is shaping you for an unshakable kingdom?

You ask for money to move overseas, for operations and medicines you cannot find where you live. It is not wrong to seek healing, but take care that your hope rests not on ships and coins and earthly physicians. The harlot Rahab believed the word of God’s messengers and was saved while the wise of the city perished. She did not say, “I will stay with my many friends,” but trusted what she heard. If she could believe, will you now demand guarantees before you give thanks? Do not bind yourself with chains heavier than those of any prisoner, chains of anxiety and endless striving. Lay your needs before God, but serve Him acceptably first, by thanking Him for what you suffer. For it is written, “Do all things without murmurings and disputings.” Whatever work you do with a murmuring heart cuts away your reward.

You wish also to think thankful thoughts each night and day instead of negative ones. This is good, but let it be no mere trick of the mind. True thankfulness is directed to God, for all things. When you have finished your breathing and your stretching, do not forget to breathe out praise to the One who gave you breath. The dog fawns on its master even when it receives nothing; will you, when you have received strength enough to move your limbs, forget the Giver and run after the demons of discontent? Nothing is worse than ingratitude. It turns the remedy into poison.

Let your service be with reverence and godly fear, for our God is a consuming fire. He does not ask that your body be free of pain, but that your heart be free of resentment. Give thanks in the afternoon, give thanks in the night, give thanks on the floor where you stretch your aching frame. So shall you receive a kingdom which cannot be moved, and your weakness will become a testimony to the resurrection.

It is striking how often the things that weigh heaviest on the body become the very path to a deeper dependence on God. Your list of needs, from the rehab exercises to the financial provision to the daily battle for a thankful mind, is precisely the kind of honest inventory the Lord invites. There is a prayer that asks, "Hold me up, for if you don't, I'll surely fall." That is not a cry of despair; it is a cry of clear-sightedness. When the body is weak and demands daily discipline to function, we see with a kind of painful clarity that every ounce of strength comes from Him. Your stretching, breathing, and strengthening are not interruptions to the spiritual life. They can become acts of conscious offering, moments when you look to the One who made your lungs and frame and ask for His sustaining power.

The feeling that you need to move, to obtain what is not available to you, is a heavy burden. Yet within that very need is an opportunity to exercise a different kind of vision. Many of us define narrow borders for our lives. We can only see what is immediately possible with the resources in our hand. But Scripture holds up a different sort of request: "Enlarge my borders." This is not a demand for luxury; it is a plea for God to provide space, means, and avenues that we cannot manufacture. He knows you need the operations, the supplements, the environment for healing. The path of wisdom here is the path of constant seeking. David, though he had struck the enemy before, did not assume the same method would work a second time. He inquired of the Lord again. The place overseas, the finances, the very move itself, take every single piece of this to God as a fresh request. Ask not for riches or honor, but for what you need to do the things He has set before you, including the stewardship of the body He has given you.

What I hear most clearly in your request is the struggle of the mind. You said you must think positive and thankful thoughts instead of negative ones. That is a real battle, and you are right to treat it with the same rigor as a physical exercise. The human soul has a strange hunger. It will consume worry, grievance, and fear, and find itself still starving, with a deep leanness of soul. God once gave people the desires of their flesh, but it brought no sustenance. The true feeding is not on positive thinking generated by sheer willpower, but on what God has done for us. The wrong message shouts at us to do more, try harder, fix our thoughts. The right message, the one that actually changes the mind, is to marinate in what God has already accomplished. You want thankful thoughts? Turn your heart toward the reality of His presence with you while you do those breathing exercises. Become aware of His nearness in the afternoon and the evening. That is not a feeling you produce; it is a fact you set your mind upon. His grace is sufficient. That statement covers a weak body, a financial mountain, and a wandering, negative mind. All sufficiency is found in Him, a sufficiency that does not remove the need but meets you powerfully inside it.

Keep bringing your body, your finances, and your thoughts before Him. Do not trust in methods or human techniques. Your need is not for a ritual but for a living relationship where you seek His face for each day’s strength. He hears, and He forgives, and He provides. That is His nature. Let your daily rehab stand as a reminder: every breath you discipline, every stretch you complete, is a physical echo of the soul’s constant need to be held up by a faithful Creator.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with your prayer needs, allowing us to stand with you before the Lord. We have been lifting up your rehab exercises, asking God to strengthen your body and give you the discipline to stay consistent in your stretching, breathing, and movement—both at home and at the facility. Father, we pray for endurance and healing in your muscles, posture, and lungs, that each day would bring progress and renewed vitality.

We have also been praying over your financial need to move overseas for the medical care, treatments, and supplements your body requires. Lord, we ask You to open doors that no one can shut—providing the resources, opportunities, and provision in ways only You can orchestrate. Give wisdom to those making decisions about your care, and let Your peace guard your heart as You wait.

And we have especially been lifting up your desire to shift your thoughts toward gratitude and positivity. Holy Spirit, we ask You to renew your mind each day and night, replacing fear and frustration with hope and thanksgiving. Remind you of God’s faithfulness in the past and His promises for your future.

If any of these prayers have been answered—if you’ve seen strength return, provision come through, or your heart grow lighter in praise—we would love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the answers haven’t come yet, or if new challenges have arisen, please share them again so we can continue standing with you in prayer.

May the Lord bless you with His presence, His peace, and His power as you seek Him through Jesus Christ. We pray all these things in Jesus’ Name.
