I am preparing for an exam that will be a valuable investment in my professional life. If we remain in Jesus, we can ask for anything. I am asking for prayers to help me pass the exam with 100% — not just for the sake of perfectionism, but because I know it is possible. Thankfully, God has blessed me with 100% results before, and I believe it can happen again. I don't know the exact date of the exam yet, but please pray for that as well. Thank you. Due to tiredness, physical drainness, and moving house, I missed the closest date for the exam. Please pray for renewed strength, a practice partner to come into my life, and continued support. Thank you!!

We rejoice with you in the confidence you have in the Lord, knowing that He is faithful to answer the prayers of His children. You rightly acknowledge that if we remain in Jesus, we can ask for anything according to His will, and He hears us. The scripture says in John 15:7, "If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you." This is a powerful promise, and we stand with you in faith, believing that God can indeed do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.

We understand your desire to pass this exam with excellence, not out of pride or perfectionism, but as a testimony to God’s faithfulness and the gifts He has placed within you. The Lord has blessed you with success before, and we believe He can do it again. However, we must also remember that our ultimate goal is to glorify God in all we do, whether we receive the outcome we desire or not. Colossians 3:23 reminds us, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men." Let your preparation and your efforts be an act of worship, trusting that God’s plans for you are good.

We also lift up your need for renewed strength and discipline as you prepare. Moving and adjusting to new circumstances can be physically and emotionally draining, but the Lord promises to renew our strength when we wait on Him. Isaiah 40:31 says, "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint." We pray that God would fill you with His supernatural strength, enabling you to manage your time wisely and stay focused on your studies.

Regarding your request for a practice partner, we encourage you to seek the Lord’s guidance in this area. Proverbs 15:22 tells us, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." It is wise to seek accountability and support from fellow believers who can encourage you in your preparation. However, we must also caution against placing too much emphasis on human assistance rather than trusting in God’s provision. The Lord can bring the right people into your life at the right time, but our ultimate reliance must always be on Him.

We also want to gently address the mention of a "practice partner" in the context of your personal life. If this refers to someone you are considering in a romantic or courtship capacity, we encourage you to seek a godly spouse who shares your faith and values. Marriage is a sacred covenant between a man and a woman, designed by God for mutual support, love, and the raising of godly offspring. If you are pursuing a relationship, let it be with the intention of honoring God and finding a spouse who will walk with you in faith. Avoid any relationships that do not align with biblical principles, including those that involve premarital intimacy, as the scriptures clearly warn against fornication (1 Corinthians 6:18).

Let us now come before the Lord in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who is preparing for this important exam. Lord, we thank You for the gifts and abilities You have placed within them, and we ask that You would empower them to use these gifts for Your glory. Grant them wisdom, discipline, and clarity of mind as they study. Help them to manage their time wisely and to prioritize their tasks according to Your will.

Father, we ask that You would renew their strength, both physically and spiritually. When they are weary, remind them that Your grace is sufficient, and Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Provide them with the support and accountability they need, whether through a study partner, a mentor, or fellow believers who can encourage them in their journey.

Lord, we also ask that You would guide them in their personal relationships. If it is Your will, bring a godly spouse into their life, someone who will walk with them in faith, love, and mutual respect. Guard their heart against any relationships that do not honor You, and help them to remain pure in thought and deed.

Above all, Father, we pray that this exam and the outcome would be used for Your glory. Whether the result is what they hope for or not, help them to trust in Your sovereign plan and to find their ultimate satisfaction in You. May their life be a testimony to Your faithfulness, and may they continue to grow in their relationship with You.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

Moving house while keeping up with exam preparation is a lot to carry at once, it’s no wonder you’re feeling worn down and behind. When life piles up like that, even things we normally handle well can start to feel overwhelming. Since you mentioned a practice partner, could you reach out to one or two people this week who might study alongside you? Sometimes just asking opens a door. Meanwhile, even a small reset, like a quiet evening off, a short walk, or a few early nights, can help your mind and body recharge enough to refocus. You already know what it’s like to see God come through with a clear mind and strong recall, so we’re glad to stand with you now.

Lord Jesus, thank you for the gift of this exam and the doors it can open. Please renew energy where moving and stress have drained it, and give steady focus when it’s time to study. We ask you to bring a reliable practice partner, someone who can make the work lighter and more encouraging. Calm any anxiety about the schedule, and help this person to take wise, small steps forward, trusting that you are with them in every detail. In your name, amen.

The soul that waits upon the Lord shall renew its strength, this is the word of promise for you in this season of weariness and delay. You have felt the draining of your frame and the press of many cares, even the upheaval of moving your dwelling place. Yet these very things are the schoolrooms where Christ teaches us to lean not on our own arm, but upon His omnipotence. When there remains no strength in you, fling yourself upon the divine strength and lay hold upon it; for He has said, "I will strengthen them," and if God says "they shall," then assuredly you will.

Your desire for a practice partner and for a set time for the examination is known to the Lord. Does He not bid us to overcome Him with our pleadings, even as Jacob wrestled and prevailed? Bring these requests before the throne, for He who is goodness itself delights to be overcome by the faith of His children. Have you not proven His faithfulness before, when He granted you success in former tests? That same perfect Savior, who is the author and finisher of your faith, will not begin a work and then abandon it. He is as able to give you full success in this endeavor as He was before; but far more, He is willing to be your wisdom and your portion, whatever the outcome. Rest not in a score or a grade, but in the perfect righteousness of Christ, which is yours by faith. In Him you stand complete, and your acceptance before God is not measured by earthly marks.

Yet I do not despise your longing for excellence, if it be sanctified. When we commit our works to the Lord, our thoughts are established. Let your mind be stayed upon Him, and He will keep you in perfect peace, peace in the middle of the storm, peace when the schedule slips and the body flags. The eagle renews its youth by the food it eats and the upper air it breathes; so you, by feeding upon Christ in the Word and breathing the atmosphere of prayer, shall find your youth restored. The dead cannot gather strength or walk; so first cry for life, and believe that Christ died for the ungodly. Then go forward, waiting upon Him continually, for they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles.

Do not fret over the hour of the test, for the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord. Whether the day come soon or late, His timing is perfect. In the meanwhile, let each small duty be done as unto Him, and the strength for the larger task will be given in its season. He that gives the shoes of iron and brass for the pilgrimage will not fail to provide the practice companion or the clear thought when the need is present. Only trust, and keep looking to Him who has already put away all your sins and cast them behind His back. If the blood of Jesus whispers peace within, then no thundercloud of anxiety can darken your brow for long. Earth's struggles soon shall cease, and Jesus calls us to heaven's perfect peace. Till then, play the man, wait upon the Lord, and win the day through Him that loves you.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. The desire to excel in your profession is not wrong, but remember that earthly achievements fade like the grass. You ask for a perfect score, and you have received such before. Yet consider: what is the fruit you seek? Is it merely a mark on a page, or the cultivation of a soul diligent in virtue?

The time before your exam is a wrestling school. The athlete, when no opponent stands before him, fills a sack with sand and strikes it, practicing for the contest. So now, with your tasks behind schedule and your body drained, you have an antagonist: your own weariness. Fight against it with patience.

Pity your tiredness as you would pity a madman who insults you, for it is a kind of demon that seeks your ruin. Do not be mastered by it, but renew the spirit of your mind. Spiritual renewal is not a different person but the same person transformed, putting off old deeds. So let your readiness not depend on a practice partner or perfect conditions.

He that postpones preparation until the storm is upon him is like the pilot who schemes only after the ship is sinking; such plans are unprofitable. The time is now, while it is still time. You have moved house and missed a deadline; do not let discouragement root itself. Even an old woman like Sarah received strength to conceive when hope seemed dead.

She who was barren and past age became fruitful by faith. So your delay need not be barren if you consecrate this waiting to God. And as for your prayer, yes, abide in Jesus and ask. But know that the fruit of the Spirit is brought forth not by seasons and long waiting, but by willingness.

The tree puts forth fruit at once when the husbandman is skilled. Yet what is that fruit? It is not a grade but temperance, courage, patience under trial. There is a kind of youth in old age and age in youth; the black hair does not excuse slackness, nor does a pressing schedule.

Therefore practice what is good. The actress once most vile outran many in continence, wrapping herself in sackcloth. She could not be dragged back to the stage, even by soldiers. So let not your physical drain nor your scattered tasks drag you from your purpose.

I advise you, and as time goes on I will speak more seriously, lest some grievous disease enter the Church through our negligence. I charge you: do not let wailing over delays and exhaustion become your habit. Set your mind on things above. For this exam is a small matter; the soul’s trial is nearer each day.

May you pass that ultimate test with a hundredfold fruit, by the mercy that renews us in Christ.

Life’s pressures can wear us down more than we realize, and moving, exhaustion, and a growing list of tasks have a way of quietly sapping the strength we took for granted. Scripture gives us the sobering picture of a man who once rose to every challenge but reached a point where he didn't know the Lord had departed from him, his power was gone and he was unaware. That can happen when we try to muscle through in our own energy, expecting the same results because they once came easily. The real danger isn’t just falling behind schedule; it’s drifting from the source of all true strength without noticing.

When Jacob wrestled with the Lord, he only prevailed after he was crippled. His own strength was taken, and then he wept and made supplication, clinging to God until he received the blessing. That’s often the pattern for us as well. Weariness becomes a gift if it drives us back to the place where we first became conscious of God’s presence, the place of utter reliance. He invites you there now, not to scold your tiredness but to renew your strength as you wait on Him.

The desire to pass an exam with a perfect score can be offered to Christ, but guard against letting the outcome become an idol that weighs your worth. God does not love you for a flawless grade; He loves you because you are His, and He already gave everything to make you His own. Abiding in Jesus means bringing your request with an open hand, trusting that whatever He chooses will be your real good. By all means, work diligently and prepare well, that’s part of your worship, yet do it from rest, not from a frantic push. Ask Him for a practice partner if that would serve you, but even if that provision tarries, He can strengthen your mind directly as you lean on Him.

Lay your exam, your moving, your daily duties at His feet. Turn to the Lord, keep mercy and justice in your dealings, and wait on Him continually. He does not grow tired of sustaining His people, and He will meet you in the quiet surrender of your need. I am praying you will know His strength renewed within you, enough for each day’s portion, and that your heart will find peace deeper than any score can give.
