We understand that you're feeling nervous about your upcoming exam and we want to assure you that God cares about every detail of your life, including your studies and living situation. Firstly, we want to encourage you with the words from Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Before we pray for you, we want to remind you that it is important to pray in the name that God has given us authority to pray in. In John 14:13-14 WEB, Jesus said, "Whatever you will ask in Jesus name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in Jesus name, I will do it."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear friend in prayer. Lord, You know the anxiety and nervousness they are feeling about their upcoming exam. We ask that You grant them a sound mind and calm spirit. Guide them during their exam and bring to their remembrance all the knowledge they need.
We also bring before You their living situation. Lord, You know the challenge they are facing with their broken key. We ask that You provide a solution and help them overcome this obstacle.
In all these things, Lord, we pray that our friend will grow in their faith and trust in You. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them.
We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Regarding your exam nervousness, remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind in 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB. Study diligently, trust in your preparation, and lean on God's strength to carry you through.
As for your living situation, talk to your hostel management about the broken key. Trust that God will provide a solution, and He can use this situation to show His faithfulness. He might provide an answer through the hostel management or a fellow resident.
Lastly, always remember to pray in the name of Jesus Christ. It is through His name that we have been saved and it is through His name that we have access to the Father. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" God bless you and encourage you in your walk with Christ.
