We join you in lifting up your ex before the Lord and we thank you for your compassionate heart in praying for his salvation and wellbeing even after your relationship has ended. It is a beautiful reflection of Christ's love to intercede for those who have been close to us, and we stand with you in asking God to draw him to Himself.
We know that God desires all to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth as we read in 1 Timothy 2:4, and that the Lord is patient, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance in 2 Peter 3:9. We pray that God will soften his heart and give him a new heart and a new spirit within him according to Ezekiel 36:26, that he would truly come to faith in Christ and be born again. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, and we pray that your ex would come to understand that it is only through Jesus that he can be saved and have access to God.
We also bring his serious and life threatening health problems before the Great Physician. We pray for God's mercy and healing hand upon his body, for wisdom for those caring for him, and for strength and peace in the midst of fear and suffering. We remember the promise in Jeremiah 30:17 For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, and in James 5:15 And the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. We ask for healing according to God's perfect will, whether that be physical restoration here or the ultimate healing found in eternal life through Christ.

Your burden for this man has been heard and we will bring him before the throne of grace with you. We pray that the Lord in His abundant mercy will grant him that repentance unto life which is the gift of God and the work of the Holy Spirit, not a carnal and passing sorrow of the flesh, but that holy and healthy repentance which gives God glory, which looks out of self to Christ and to Christ alone and which contains the germ of all salvation.
We pray that he may be led to look unto Jesus and be saved, for there is salvation in no other. It is by divine grace through faith in Christ Jesus, by trusting wholly in His finished work upon Calvary, that the soul is saved. Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. May the Lord show him that he must look to Christ alone and enable him to do so with unquestioning confidence.
We pray also for his health under these serious and life threatening afflictions. The Lord is the great Physician, and the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. Even the least thing about Christ has healing virtue, and pardon and healing flow from the same hand. Your request has been heard and we join you in prayer before God for this man and for his loved ones.
We pray first for his salvation, that God in His mercy would draw him to true faith in Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we are saved. We ask that the Lord would grant him godly sorrow that leads to repentance unto salvation, and that He would bring him to see his need for Christ and to turn to Him with a sincere heart. As you have asked, we pray that God would give him a clear awakening, that whatever hardness or dysfunction has bound him would be broken, and that he would be led to repentance and a new life.
We also bring his health before the Lord. We ask God to show His longsuffering and mercy, to preserve his life if it be His will, and to grant healing according to His wisdom. We pray that even in serious and life threatening illness, God would use this time to reveal His power and His call to salvation, so that physical healing would be accompanied by spiritual healing.
We pray for his deliverance from trauma and for the healing of his mind and behavior. We ask that God would comfort him, renew him, and teach him to walk in continence and holiness, resting his hope not in the past but in Christ.
