Beloved Servant
Please pray for my ex to come to faith in Christ. Pray for his health especially amidst serious and life-threatening health problems. Pray for his healing from trauma and emotional/behavioral issues. Pray for God to give him a wake up call to stop behaving in dysfunctional ways. Pray for his loved ones' salvation and wellbeing as well. Thank you.

We join you in lifting up your former boyfriend before the throne of grace and we thank you for your compassionate heart that desires his salvation and healing even after your relationship has ended. It is a beautiful reflection of Christ's love to intercede for one who is no longer in your life in that way, and we count it a privilege to pray with you.

We hear your burden for his soul above all else, and that is the right priority. Scripture tells us that God desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth in 1 Timothy 2:4 and that He is patient, not wishing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance in 2 Peter 3:9. We pray that the Lord in His mercy will use even these serious and life threatening health problems as a wake up call to draw him to Himself. We pray that what the enemy has meant for harm and what sin and trauma have broken, God will use to open his eyes to his need for a Savior. Jesus said in John 14:6 that He is the way, the truth, and the life and no one comes to the Father except through Him, and in Acts 4:12 we are reminded there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. We pray that he will hear the gospel, believe in his heart, confess Jesus as Lord, and be saved as Romans 10:9 promises.

We also lift up his physical health to the Great Physician. We pray for God's healing hand upon his body according to His perfect will, and for wisdom for any doctors caring for him. We claim the promise that God heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds in Psalm 147:3 and that He declares in Jeremiah 30:17, I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds. Even more than physical healing, we pray for deep inner healing from trauma and for freedom from dysfunctional and destructive patterns of behavior. These behaviors often flow from unhealed wounds and unrepentant sin, and we pray that God will give him a new heart and put a new spirit within him as promised in Ezekiel 36:26, taking away the heart of stone and giving a heart of flesh that is responsive to Him. We pray that God will lovingly rebuke and correct what is not of Him, bring conviction of sin, and grant him the grace to repent and walk in newness of life, for whom the Son sets free is free indeed in John 8:36.

We join you in praying for his loved ones as well, that God would surround them with His protection, draw each of them to salvation in Christ, and use them as witnesses of His grace.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only mediator and hope. We lift up this young man to You. You know his name, his health struggles, his trauma, and every hidden wound. Lord, have mercy on him and save him. Open his eyes to see his need for You, soften his heart to receive Your gospel, and grant him repentance and faith. We ask for Your healing touch on his body if it be Your will, and for complete healing of his mind and emotions. Break the chains of dysfunction and set him free to walk in Your truth and holiness. Draw his family and loved ones to Yourself as well and let Your salvation come to his household. Help our sister who is praying to trust Your timing, to maintain godly boundaries as she intercedes for her former boyfriend, and to rest in Your sovereign love. If You should ever lead toward any future relationship, we pray it would only be as two believers pursuing courtship with the goal of a Christ centered marriage between a man and a woman that honors You in purity and commitment. Until then, give her peace and strength to continue to love through prayer while keeping her heart guarded in Christ. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

We encourage you to continue to intercede with hope and to place him fully in God's hands. Keep praying, keep trusting, and continue to walk closely with the Lord yourself, knowing that your prayers are powerful and effective. God is able to do far more than we ask or imagine.

We hear how much you still carry for him, bringing your ex before the Lord even though your lives have taken different paths. It is a tender and heavy thing to keep praying for someone you once loved, especially when his health is so fragile and his struggles run deep.

We join you in praying for what you named first, that he would come to know Jesus, and for mercy in these serious and life threatening health problems. We also hear your heart for healing from trauma and for a clear turning point away from patterns that harm him and others. Trauma can shape how a person sees himself and the world around him, which is why change can feel so slow and confusing. It helps to remember Jesus knows that kind of pain personally and draws near to those who suffer.

If you have appropriate contact, gently encouraging him to stay under good medical care is a loving complement to prayer, and we pray God gives wisdom to those caring for him.

Father, we lift this man to you in Jesus name. Draw him to yourself and give him new life in Christ. Have mercy on his body in these life threatening health problems and grant wisdom to those caring for him. Bring healing where trauma has wounded him, give him clarity to see what needs to change, and surround his loved ones with your protection and grace. We trust him to your good hands. Amen.

Your request has been heard and we join you in bringing this man before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to do for him what only grace can do.

We pray first and chiefly for his salvation, for there is no other way of salvation but by looking unto Christ alone. The Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. To believe on Him is to trust in Him, to depend upon Him without fear as to present and eternal salvation, to leave the whole matter of the soul in His hands. We ask that God would grant him that simple faith which looks unto Jesus and is saved, for salvation is of the Lord and beside Him there is none else.

And with faith we pray for repentance, for faith and repentance are inseparable graces. We do not ask for a carnal repentance that is of the flesh and passes away, which does not give God glory. We pray that God would grant him repentance unto life, that holy and healthy repentance which is worked in the renewed heart by the Holy Spirit. Such repentance is not a preparation for grace but the first result of grace working within the soul, it is the gift of God. It makes a man look out of self to Christ and to Christ only, it gives God glory by confessing sin honestly and by trusting the finished work of Jesus Christ upon the cross. We pray that the Lord would give him this true sorrow for sin that needs not to be repented of, and that he would turn from dysfunctional and sinful ways to seek the mercy that is freely offered in Christ.

Concerning his serious and life threatening health problems, his trauma and his emotional and behavioral struggles, we bring his body and his mind to the Great Physician. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. When the Lord comes and dwells with a man, pardon and healing are one, for the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings. We ask the Lord, if it be His will, to restore his health and to give skill to those who care for him, but above all that any affliction would be used as a gracious wake up call to show him his need of Christ, that he would cry, He will save me, and take Christ to be his King and Saviour.

We also lift before the Lord his loved ones, praying that each of them would be brought to salvation through faith in Christ alone, and that the Lord would guard their wellbeing and draw them to Himself. May He who is sovereign and merciful do His perfect work in each heart.

We encourage you to continue in prayer, trusting that repentance and remission of sins are preached in the name of Jesus, and that whoever asks for these gifts in His name shall not ask in vain. May the Lord uphold you as you pray, and may He be glorified in answering according to His wisdom and love.

Father, grant this man the gift of repentance unto life and faith to look unto Jesus and be saved. Forgive his sins for Christ's sake, heal him as it pleases Thee, and make him a new creature to Thy glory. Bring his loved ones also to know Thy salvation, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for sharing this burden with us. We join you in bringing your ex before the Lord in prayer, asking for God's mercy and grace in every area you mentioned.

We pray first for his salvation. We ask that God in His longsuffering would not sweep away but would give time and opportunity for an excellent change, that he would hear the gospel and receive the salvation that comes through Jesus Christ alone and through repentance. As Scripture teaches, there is no other name by which we are saved, and we pray that he would turn to Christ in faith and find forgiveness and new life.

We also pray for his health in the midst of these serious and life threatening problems. We remember that Christ is the true physician who not only quenched fever with a touch but gave back perfect health at once, doing what no human art could do. We ask God to show His power and mercy as the Great Physician, to grant healing according to His will, to sustain his body, and to give wisdom to those caring for him. Whether healing comes at once or through His ongoing providence, we trust that every true health comes from His hand.

We pray for his healing from trauma and for his emotional and behavioral struggles. We ask God to apply His medicine to what is sick within, and not to withhold healing treatment. We pray that God would give him a clear wake up call, to see his need and to turn from dysfunctional ways. We know that many hear the word many times without fruit, and then at last one hearing brings conversion, for God has been working even through the earlier hearers. So we pray that God would keep working on his heart, bringing conviction, repentance, and the strength to walk in new patterns that honor God.

We pray also for his loved ones, that God would draw each of them to salvation in Christ and guard their wellbeing. We ask that they would know the truth that leads to eternal life and be kept in God's care.

We will continue to pray with you that God would do this work for His glory and for good, leading all involved toward holiness, wholeness, and life in Christ. May the Lord give you peace as you entrust this person to Him, and may you be encouraged to keep praying with patient hope.

Father, have mercy on this man. Grant him repentance and faith in Your Son, heal his body and his soul, deliver him from what harms him, and lead him and his loved ones into Your salvation and truth. In the name of Jesus we ask this, Amen.
