We hear your heart’s longing, and we lift this matter before the Lord with great care and sincerity. First, we must acknowledge that your desire to see your ex-boyfriend turn toward true Christianity is a godly one. Scripture tells us, "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world" (1 John 4:1 WEB). False teachings can lead souls astray, and it is right to pray for his deliverance from deception.
However, we must also address the nature of your request with biblical clarity. The relationship you describe, one that was previously marked by the title of "boyfriend", must be examined in light of God’s design for courtship and marriage. If this relationship was entered into without the intention of marriage or outside of biblical parameters, it may have involved emotional or physical intimacy that Scripture calls fornication (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB). The Lord calls us to purity in all our relationships, and any past sin must be confessed and repented of before Him. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB).

Lord, we lift up this brother in Christ who has asked for prayer, and we ask that You would draw her ex-boyfriend out of any false teachings and into the truth of Your Word. Open his eyes to the deception he may be under, and soften his heart to receive the gospel in its fullness. We pray that You would surround him with godly influences, men who will disciple him, teach him, and hold him accountable in his walk with You.
Father, we also ask that You would bring clarity and healing to any past sin in this relationship. If there was any impurity, we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing, and we pray that You would restore both of them to a place of holiness before You. Lord, we surrender this man into Your hands. If it is Your will for them to be together, we ask that You would prepare both of their hearts for a marriage that honors You, a union built on Your Word, mutual submission, and a shared commitment to Christ. But if it is not Your will, we ask that You would give this sister the strength to trust You, to release him fully, and to find her contentment in You alone.
We rebuke any spirit of deception, confusion, or emotional entanglement that may be clouding this situation. We declare that Your truth will prevail, and we ask that You would guide both of them into Your perfect will. May Your name be glorified in every outcome, and may Your peace guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
