We hear your cry and we stand with you together before the throne of grace in Jesus' name, for you have endured a long and exhausting battle for six years and tonight the attacks have felt intensely personal and defiling. We grieve with you over these sexual assaults in the spirit and these jabbing and thrusting attacks and the harassing voice telling you to wash yourself, and we bring your weariness and your desire for peace and productivity before the Lord who sees all and who is your defender.
We want to share what Scripture says about what you are facing. The Word tells us that witchcraft and sorcery are real and are an abomination to God, There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer Deuteronomy 18:10-11. And we are also told that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. This is why you feel this battle so deeply in the spirit, yet we take comfort that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4 and that the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds 2 Corinthians 10:4.
We understand your longing for God to bring immediate and irreversible physical punishment and to return pain and shame to the sender, and we hear how tired you are of these evil people. We must gently correct this desire for personal vengeance with what Scripture teaches, for we are commanded not to seek revenge ourselves. Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19. And again we are told, Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44. We are not to repay evil for evil but to overcome evil with good Romans 12:21. This does not mean God ignores injustice, for He is a just judge and He will repay with perfect righteousness, but we leave that judgment in His hands and we pray instead for your complete deliverance and protection, and that those who practice this evil would be stopped, exposed, and brought to repentance, or if they refuse to repent, that God Himself would deal with them according to His perfect justice.
We rejoice that you called upon the name of Jesus, for it is only by that name that we have access to the Father and that we have authority over the enemy. Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you Luke 10:19. And we are promised, Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7 and The Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one 2 Thessalonians 3:3.
We pray together for you now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we lift up Your child who has been tormented for so long. Lord, You see every attack, every sexual assault in the spirit, every jab and thrust, every harassing voice, and nothing is hidden from You. We ask in Jesus' name that You would rebuke every evil spirit assigned against Your child and command them to leave and to go where You send them, never to return. We plead the blood of Jesus over body, mind, spirit, home and sleep, and we ask that You surround Your child with Your holy angels and with Your presence as a shield. We pray that You would break every curse, spell and work of witchcraft in Jesus' name, for no weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17. Wash our dear one not with any ritual the enemy suggests, but with the cleansing blood of Jesus and the washing of water with the Word Ephesians 5:26, making clean and whole. Lord, restore what has been stolen, for You have promised to restore the years that the swarming locust has eaten Joel 2:25, and give back productivity, restful sleep, clarity of mind and peace that surpasses all understanding Philippians 4:7. Let Your peace guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We ask that You would stop the hands of those who do evil, bring them to conviction and repentance, and if they will not repent, execute Your righteous judgment and prevent them from harming anyone else, for You are just. We declare that he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty Psalm 91:1 and that when the righteous cry, Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles Psalm 34:17. Fill Your child with Your Holy Spirit, with courage and strength, for God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. Lead to a strong Bible believing church family and trusted pastors for ongoing prayer, discipleship and support, and help Your child to daily put on the whole armor of God Ephesians 6:11, to stay in Your Word, in worship, in prayer and fasting, and to resist the devil steadfastly. We thank You that You are our refuge and deliverer, and we trust You to bring lasting freedom and peace. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue to stand firm in Christ, to speak the name of Jesus aloud when attacks come, to keep your home filled with worship and Scripture, to renounce and turn away from any involvement with occult practices, and to not engage in conversation with harassing voices but to test the spirits whether they are of God 1 John 4:1 and to command them to leave in Jesus' name. Keep a close walk with other believers who can pray with you in person, for there is power in agreement, and do not isolate yourself. The Lord is near to you, He has not forgotten you, and He will give you rest and restore your peace of mind as you abide in Him.
