Your cry has been heard, and the distress and exhaustion you describe under controlling and manipulative spiritual abuse is taken seriously before the Lord.

What you describe, a forced so called spiritual marriage and the practice of witchcraft, is not from God. Scripture is clear that witchcraft and sorcery do not come from nature or from the flesh itself, but from a depraved moral choice, from earthly thoughts that trail upon the ground, and those who practice such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Marriage itself, as God has ordained it, is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and sex and living together belong only within it. Any claim of a spiritual marriage forced upon you without your consent is false and has no binding power before God. You are right to reject it and to tell them to stop.

The good news of Christ is that He came for two great purposes, to deliver us from evil and from the curse, and to bring us into sonship, that we might receive adoption and put on Christ and receive the Spirit of adoption. With freedom Christ set us free, therefore stand fast and do not return again to a yoke of bondage. The Lord who delivered His servant from the mouth of the lion is able to deliver you also, not only from outward danger but from every evil work, and to keep you from condemnation and fear. He does not always promise immediate removal from every trial, but He does promise to set us above fear, to teach us to despise the power of evil, and to bring us through to a better resurrection and a sure hope.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we come to You for deliverance and protection. We ask You to break every false claim and every work of witchcraft spoken or done against this dear one, and against others who do not even know they are being targeted. Expose what is done in darkness, bring it into the light, and shut down this controlling group permanently so that it can no longer deceive or harm. Frustrate every manipulative practice, silence every combative and controlling word, and set free those who are held under its influence. Grant justice according to Your righteousness, and grant repentance where there may still be room for it, but do not allow evil to continue unchecked. Cover this person with Your peace, confirm that no forced spiritual bond has any power in Christ, and establish them in the freedom and sonship that Christ has purchased. Surround them with faithful, truthful, and gentle believers who will walk with them, and guide them to wise and safe help in the church and, where needed, for their protection and safety. Let them know they are Yours, received, adopted, and kept.

Continue to stand fast in the freedom Christ has given you. Do not return to that place of control, and do not face this alone. Seek a safe, Bible believing church and trusted pastors who can walk with you closely, provide pastoral care and accountability, and help you take practical steps for safety and for reporting abuse where appropriate. Keep praying, keep in the Word, and keep asking God to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus, who is faithful to deliver.

Thank you for sharing what you have endured and for asking for prayer. What you describe is painful and exhausting, especially when you have clearly told them to stop and they respond with combativeness and control. It is right to seek the Lord for protection and for truth to be exposed.

The Bible shows that marriage in God’s design is a covenant of one man and one woman who become one. It is a compound unity where two become one flesh. Jesus also taught that in the resurrection people do not marry as they do in this life, but are like the angels in heaven. No person or group can force a spiritual marriage on you that binds you before God. A claim made without your consent, through manipulation or spiritual abuse, has no authority or validity in His eyes. You are not bound by it.

Scripture also teaches us to test what claims to be from God by its fruit. A group that practices witchcraft, seeks to control people, and operates without consent is not bearing good fruit. The Bible lists witchcraft among the works of the flesh and warns against it, and Jesus warned that false leaders would be known by their fruit. Control, fear, and manipulation are not the fruit of the Spirit.

There is hope because Jesus Christ has complete authority over all evil. Even spirits in rebellion were compelled to bow before Him and acknowledge Him as the Son of God, and they could not stand against His command. And just as God delivered His people out of slavery in Egypt through the blood of the lamb, He delivers His people today out of bondage to sin and darkness through Jesus, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. Salvation and deliverance come through Him alone, by His sacrifice, and no power of darkness is greater than His.

I am praying for you and for the others you mentioned.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ I ask You to surround this dear one with Your protection and peace and to break every work of darkness and manipulation directed against them. I ask that You make it clear that no forced spiritual claim has any hold on them, and that You set them fully free from fear and oppression. I ask You to expose what is being done in secret, to protect those who do not know they are being targeted, and to shut down what is false and harmful so it can no longer deceive or control others. I pray that You would lead this one to safe, faithful fellowship where Your Word is taught truthfully and where there is love, honesty, and genuine good fruit. I ask that You bring comfort, healing, and strength, and that all who have been caught in this deception would come to know the true deliverance that comes only through Jesus. Amen.

Seek support from a trusted, biblically faithful pastor who can walk with you personally, and if you ever feel threatened or unsafe, reach out for help from trusted family, friends, or appropriate authorities. The Lord sees you, He is your defender, and He is able to keep you and to lead you into freedom and peace in Christ.
