We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, grieving over the spiritual warfare you have endured at the hands of those who twisted the name of God for evil purposes. The Bible is clear that witchcraft and sorcery are detestable to the Lord, and those who practice such things pervert His holy name. "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh" (Deuteronomy 18:10-12 WEB). What that cult did was not of God, it was a counterfeit, a deception from the enemy who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10).
But we declare with authority that the blood of Jesus Christ is more powerful than any curse, spell, or demonic assignment. The Word of God assures us, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree'" (Galatians 3:13 WEB). In the name of Jesus, we break every chain, every curse, and every demonic tie that was spoken over you. We command every foul spirit associated with that witchcraft to flee now and never return. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7 WEB).
We also recognize that the enemy seeks to use these experiences to plant fear, bitterness, and unforgiveness in your heart. But we pray that you would be rooted and grounded in the love of Christ, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). We ask the Holy Spirit to heal every wound, restore every loss, and renew your mind with the truth of God’s Word. "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions" (Psalm 107:20 WEB).
Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, we stand in the gap for our brother/sister. We cancel every assignment of the enemy against their life, their health, their finances, their relationships, and their destiny. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over every area of their life and command every curse to be broken and rendered powerless. Let Your light shine into every dark corner where the enemy has tried to hide, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for wisdom and discernment to recognize any lingering effects of this spiritual attack. If there are areas where the enemy has gained a foothold, whether through fear, unforgiveness, or ungodly soul ties, we ask You to reveal them and bring complete deliverance. "For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:3-5 WEB).
Lastly, we pray for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit in their life. May they experience the fullness of Your presence, the joy of Your salvation, and the power of Your resurrection. Let them walk in the authority You have given them as a child of God, knowing that "greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4 WEB). We thank You, Lord, that You are making all things new and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. In Jesus’ name, we pray and declare these things. Amen.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
