Evil, lack of remorse

Kensem

Beloved of All
Neither the landlord, the contact person, the owner nor the team has shown any remorse regarding the life-threatening electrical issues, but has instead asked the electricians to fake the report and write that everything works well.

I showed them pictures of the electric shocks I received while showering, which left my skin wounded. I also have medical reports stating that I have experienced this.

They have never apologised or empathised with me. They haven't offered me compensation or a new place to live.

All they do is block communication, make threats and refuse payment.

In the mighty name of Jesus, please continue to pray for an end to sadistic and antisocial tendencies and for an end to all unscrupulous behaviour, irresponsibility and avoidance.

May this situation be turned around and may they show remorse, apologise and pay compensation with due respect

Update:
The electrical system is life-threatening and needs urgent repairs. This has been documented by an electrician. Upon being informed about the electric shocks, medical treatment, hotel showers, etc., the lawyer representing the landlord wrote again to demand fees and to state that we do not deserve “comfort” or repairs, but rather forced eviction.
These words and attitude appear to be dangerous and psychologically damaging. The fact that she equates “comfort” with a “life-threatening issue” reveals a deeply disturbed heart and mind. Please pray for her and this situation in Jesus' name.

Update: Despite the apartment being uninhabitable and clean and ready for the keys to be handed in, the landlord is threatening legal action. Please pray that his heart is softened and that he is open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Update: Please continue to pray for these people who have not apologised to me or compensated me after a month of moving out. Please pray. May God break their hardness. May they have a heart of flesh. May they hear His call. May they submit to Him.

We stand with you in this deeply troubling situation, lifting your safety, justice, and peace before the Lord. What you have endured is not only physically dangerous but reveals a profound hardness of heart in those responsible, one that Scripture warns against. The lack of remorse, the manipulation of truth, and the callous disregard for human life are grievous sins before God. The prophet Ezekiel spoke of such hearts when he wrote, "I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh" (Ezekiel 36:26 WEB). We pray this transformation over your landlord, their representatives, and all involved.

The demand for falsified reports and the refusal to acknowledge the severity of your suffering is an abomination. Jesus Himself warned, "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitened tombs, which outwardly appear beautiful, but inwardly are full of dead men’s bones and of all uncleanness" (Matthew 23:27 WEB). Their actions are not merely unethical, they are spiritually dead, and only the Holy Spirit can convict them of their sin. We rebuke the spirit of deception, greed, and hardness operating in this situation. In the name of Jesus, we declare that their schemes will not prosper, and their attempts to silence or harm you will fail.

You are right to seek justice, not only for yourself but for the principle of righteousness. The Lord is a God of justice, and He hears the cries of the oppressed. "The LORD works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed" (Psalm 103:6 WEB). We pray that every legal threat, every false claim, and every attempt to evict you unjustly will be exposed and overturned. May the truth of your documentation, medical reports, electrician findings, and photographic evidence, prevail in every court and conversation.

We also lift up the lawyer representing the landlord, whose words reveal a disturbing lack of empathy. Her equating "comfort" with a life-threatening issue is a sign of a seared conscience. The apostle Paul warned, "They know God’s righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, yet they not only do them but also approve of those who practice them" (Romans 1:32 WEB). We pray for her conviction, that the Holy Spirit would pierce her heart and lead her to repentance. May she no longer be an instrument of injustice but a vessel for truth.

Father, we ask that You break the hardness in these hearts. Soften them to Your voice, Lord. Let them see the weight of their actions and the harm they have caused. We pray for restitution, financial, emotional, and spiritual, for our brother/sister in Christ. May they receive every penny owed, every apology deserved, and every repair necessary to restore what has been lost. We declare that this apartment will be made safe, that the landlord will be held accountable, and that no further harm will come to Your child.

We also pray for your protection, both physically and spiritually. The enemy would love to use this situation to bring fear, bitterness, or despair, but we stand on God’s promise: "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the LORD’s servants, and their righteousness is from Me," says the LORD (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). You are not alone in this fight. The Lord is your defender, your provider, and your peace.

Finally, we pray for your heart. It is easy to grow weary when facing such callousness, but remember the words of Jesus: "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled" (Matthew 5:6 WEB). Your pursuit of justice is holy in God’s sight. Do not lose hope. The same God who parted the Red Sea, who raised Jesus from the dead, and who exposes the secrets of men’s hearts is at work in your situation. We declare breakthrough, restoration, and vindication in Jesus’ mighty name.

Lord, we ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Righteous Judge, the Defender of the oppressed, and the One who makes all things new. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We’re so sorry you’ve had to endure this. What you’ve described, life‑threatening danger, documented harm, and then a complete refusal to take responsibility, hits deep. It’s one thing to suffer an injury; it’s another to have the wrongdoers twist the facts, threaten you, and treat your basic safety as if it were an unreasonable demand. The lawyer’s words equating “comfort” with a dangerous electrical fault must have felt like a fresh wound, and we can hear how much you long for just a simple, honest acknowledgment of what happened.

When people steel themselves against remorse, it can tempt us to wait for their apology before we can breathe again. But you don’t have to stay stuck in that waiting room. While we keep praying that God truly softens their hearts, your own healing doesn’t need their permission. Forgiveness, the kind that refuses to let bitterness set up camp in your soul, is something you can begin now, not for their sake, but so their coldness stops dictating your peace. That doesn’t mean excusing what they did or dropping wise boundaries; it means releasing the demand for their apology into God’s hands so you can walk forward lighter.

On the legal side, it might be wise to get some steady advice. A local tenants’ rights group or a legal aid office can help you untangle the threats and false claims, so you’re not facing that pressure alone. And for the emotional toll, leaning on a trusted pastor or counselor can help you process the psychological damage without carrying it all inside.

Lord, we ask you to guard our friend from further harm. We pray for truth to come fully to light, and yes, we pray you would soften the hearts of those who have been hard and evasive. But even if they never apologize, heal the wounds they’ve caused. Give wisdom for every practical step and surround them with supportive people who reflect your kindness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The trial you describe is heavy indeed, to meet with such sustained hardness of heart in those who should be protectors of safety and justice. It is a bitter draught to suffer bodily harm, to be denied the very acknowledgment of wrong, and then to be threatened and pressed for fees as though you were the offender. Yet do not let this surprise you overmuch, for the natural heart of man is as firm as a stone, yea, hard as a piece of the nether millstone. When a soul has grown callous by love of gain or fear of consequence, it can gaze upon wounds and medical proofs and feel no pity. This absence of remorse is a grievous token, but it is not beyond the reach of Him who has power to turn the heart of stone into a heart of flesh.

You have asked prayer for these people, that they might be brought to remorse, to apology, to due compensation. That is a right and Christlike desire. But remember that mere remorse forced out by judgment is not the repentance which saves. The law and its terrors do but harden, all the while they work alone. There is a repentance after the flesh, a carnal sorrow, that may be stirred by fear of discovery or legal trouble, but it lacks the sweet dissolving power of love. True repentance, that hatred of sin and turning from it, is a gift of God, and it is most effectually worked when the heart is melted by a sense of blood-bought pardon. Hannibal dissolved the rocks of the Alps with vinegar, it is said, but Christ dissolves our hearts with love. Pray, then, not merely that they be made to see their guilt, but that the love of Christ might constrain them, that the meek and lowly heart of Jesus might be presented to their souls until they loathe their cruelty and seek mercy.

Meanwhile, guard your own spirit against the same hardness which you lament in them. It is a subtle danger, when we are wronged, to let our heart settle into a stony state of resentment or to live contentedly without the present enjoyment of the Savior’s face. Have your sins separated you and your God, and is your heart at rest? Let not this affliction become an occasion for your own heart to grow cold. If you begin to feel that your own heart has grown somewhat insensible, bring that very complaint before the Lord. The truest repentance is not a thing of one moment, but a continual life-long act; and the most sincere penitent will feel a measure of remaining hardness. Yet there is a promise explicitly made to you and to all who are in Christ: “I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.” The Spirit of God can make the heart living, warm, sensitive, and tender again.

Now, as to these landlords and lawyers who speak as though physical safety were a matter of “comfort” to be denied, the words indeed reveal a deeply disturbed understanding. But let your chief weapon be not your own indignation, but prayer. You are not to seek to draw up forgiveness or even repentance for them from your own depths, as one draws water from a well. Ask Christ to work repentance in them by His Holy Spirit. The operations of His grace are attended with such omnipotent energy that He is able to say, “A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you.” When the heart of Jesus is truly seen, that heart so meek and lowly, it draws the hearts of men. Pray that they may see Him, not as a harsh judge, but as the Lamb of God who takes away sin, and then, perhaps, they will be full of mourning because they pierced Him afresh in their dealings with you. That would be repentance indeed, a rainbow made of tears of grief for sin and glances of hope at the love of Christ.

I will join with you in this petition, that God would break their hardness, that they might submit to His call, and that they would show the fruits of repentance with honourable amends. But remember also that even if they never repay you in this life, the Lord sees and will set all things right in His time. A sense of His superlative love towards you, a heart-knowledge of God’s own character, will be your sufficient shield. Let your prayer be not only for their turning, but also for your own heart to be kept broken and contrite, the sacrifice which God will not despise. The Lord grant such repentance to them, and to us all.

The wounds you have suffered are not hidden from the God who sees all. He is the righteous Judge, strong and patient. He does not overlook those who are wrongfully afflicted, nor does He rush to punish the wicked, for His longsuffering is meant to lead them to repentance. When they harden their hearts and refuse to turn, they store up wrath for themselves, but He delays that they might yet come to their senses.

Do not be troubled that they show no remorse now. Injustice carries its own bitterness, and it wounds the doer more deeply than the one who endures it. The gnawing of conscience, the fear that crouches behind threats, the shame that hides behind avoidance these are already at work, even if they stifle the voice. Unless they truly repent, they will find that the time for tears may come too late, like Esau, who wept but sought no real change. True repentance is not mere sorrow under pressure; it is the soul accusing itself, confessing its sin, and turning from the evil. That kind of repentance has immense power to restore even the most hardened.

Pray, then, that God gives them a heart of flesh. Pray that they hear His call and submit, not merely to escape trouble but to be made whole. But do not let their wickedness poison your own spirit. Endure this trial as a good soldier of Jesus Christ it is no small honor to bear hardness for His sake. If resentment rises, say to yourself, “Behold, you are made whole; sin no more.” Your deliverance from that dangerous place is a gift, not a license to be consumed by the desire for their punishment.

If they persist in evil, leave them to the Judge who will repay every debt with perfect justice. For now, cling to the truth that God’s goodness is calling them, but His power will not be mocked forever. May He break their hardness and grant them repentance before it is too late, and may He keep your own heart in His peace.
