Neither the landlord, the contact person, the owner nor the team has shown any remorse regarding the life-threatening electrical issues, but has instead asked the electricians to fake the report and write that everything works well.

I showed them pictures of the electric shocks I received while showering, which left my skin wounded. I also have medical reports stating that I have experienced this.

They have never apologised or empathised with me. They haven't offered me compensation or a new place to live.

All they do is block communication, make threats and refuse payment.

In the mighty name of Jesus, please continue to pray for an end to sadistic and antisocial tendencies and for an end to all unscrupulous behaviour, irresponsibility and avoidance.

May this situation be turned around and may they show remorse, apologise and pay compensation with due respect

The electrical system is life-threatening and needs urgent repairs. This has been documented by an electrician. Upon being informed about the electric shocks, medical treatment, hotel showers, etc., the lawyer representing the landlord wrote again to demand fees and to state that we do not deserve “comfort” or repairs, but rather forced eviction.
These words and attitude appear to be dangerous and psychologically damaging. The fact that she equates “comfort” with a “life-threatening issue” reveals a deeply disturbed heart and mind. Please pray for her and this situation in Jesus' name.

Update: Despite the apartment being uninhabitable and clean and ready for the keys to be handed in, the landlord is threatening legal action. Please pray that his heart is softened and that he is open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this deeply troubling situation in prayer. Father God, we are grieved by the callousness, deceit, and outright evil displayed in this matter, where human life has been disregarded, danger has been ignored, and justice has been twisted into a weapon of oppression. The lack of remorse, the demand for falsified reports, and the threats of eviction in the face of documented harm reveal hearts hardened against truth, compassion, and basic decency. Lord, we cry out for Your intervention, for You are the God of justice, mercy, and righteousness.

We rebuke the spirit of greed, corruption, and cruelty that has taken hold in this situation. Scripture warns us in Proverbs 21:13, "Whoever stops his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry out, but shall not be heard." These individuals have not only ignored the cry of the afflicted but have sought to silence and punish the one who has suffered. We declare that their schemes will not stand, for You are the defender of the weak and the oppressed. Psalm 82:3-4 commands, "Defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless. Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. Rescue the weak and needy. Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked." Lord, arise and do just that in this situation.

We pray specifically for the landlord, the contact person, the owner, the team, and the lawyer involved. Their actions reveal a seared conscience and a heart resistant to the conviction of the Holy Spirit. Yet we know that no heart is beyond Your reach. Ezekiel 36:26 promises, "I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh." We ask, Father, that You break through their hardness, that they may see the gravity of their actions and be moved to genuine repentance. Let them no longer find satisfaction in their unrighteousness but be tormented by the weight of their sin until they turn from it.

We also lift up the one who has endured this suffering. The physical wounds from electric shocks, the emotional trauma of being dismissed and threatened, and the exhaustion of fighting for basic justice are heavy burdens to carry. But we declare over them the truth of Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." Lord, be their refuge and strength. Provide them with wisdom, favor, and protection as they navigate this battle. Surround them with godly counsel, legal support, and practical help. Let them not grow weary in doing good, for in due time, they will reap if they do not faint (Galatians 6:9).

We pray for the electrical system in the apartment, let it be exposed fully for the hazard it is. May no further harm come to anyone because of its condition. We ask for swift and thorough repairs, not as a favor, but as a right and a responsibility owed to those who have been endangered. We also pray for the electricians who were asked to falsify reports. May they have the courage to stand for truth and refuse to be complicit in deception. Proverbs 11:3 declares, "The integrity of the upright shall guide them, but the perverseness of the treacherous shall destroy them." Let integrity prevail in every corner of this situation.

Regarding the lawyer who equated "comfort" with a life-threatening issue, we recognize the spiritual darkness at work in her words. This is not merely a legal matter but a manifestation of a heart that has lost its moral compass. We pray for her soul, that the light of Christ would penetrate the darkness and that she would be confronted with the reality of her actions. 2 Timothy 2:25-26 reminds us to correct those in opposition with gentleness, "if perhaps God may give them repentance leading to a full knowledge of the truth, and they may recover themselves out of the devil’s snare, having been taken captive by him to his will." Lord, we ask that You would loose her from this snare and bring her to a place of repentance and restoration.

We also address the threat of legal action despite the apartment being uninhabitable. This is not justice; it is intimidation. We declare that no weapon formed against the one who has been wronged shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for the landlord’s heart to be softened, that he would no longer be driven by pride, greed, or malice but would be open to the leading of the Holy Spirit. May he recognize the severity of the situation and choose to act with integrity, offering restitution and a just resolution.

Father, we ask for a supernatural turnaround in this situation. Let the tables be turned so that those who have shown no mercy will be shown none, not out of vengeance, but so that they may taste the consequences of their actions and be led to repentance. Let the one who has suffered receive full compensation, a safe place to live, and the respect they deserve. Let every lie be exposed, every threat nullified, and every attempt to silence the truth be brought to nothing.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the One through whom we have access to the Father, and the One who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. There is no other name by which we can be saved or by which we can approach You (Acts 4:12). We stand on the authority of Jesus’ name, believing that what we ask in faith, according to Your will, You will do.

We also take a moment to encourage the one who has shared this request. Do not lose heart. The Lord sees everything, and He is a God of justice. Continue to walk in truth, document everything, seek wise counsel, and trust in God’s timing. Proverbs 22:22-23 warns, "Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for Yahweh will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them." Your case is in God’s hands, and He will not abandon you.

Lastly, we pray for all those who may read this and find themselves in similar situations of injustice. May they be emboldened to stand for truth, seek godly wisdom, and trust in the Lord’s deliverance. May they also examine their own hearts, ensuring that they are not complicit in systems or behaviors that oppress others, for we are all called to love our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:31).

We commit this situation into Your hands, Lord, trusting that You will act. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in the outcome. Amen.

Before I say anything else, I must speak to your safety. If those electric shocks are still a present threat, if you are staying in a place where even washing your body puts your life at risk, please do not linger there another night. Get to safety. Contact the emergency services in your area right away. You can also find a helpline that understands your country's resources at findahelpline.com, they will listen and point you to practical help. Your life is precious, and Christ would not have you remain in harm's way while you wait for justice.

Now, friend, let me get close to you and speak from the heart. You have been living inside a cruel contradiction: a house meant to shelter you has become a trap, and the very people who ought to have rushed to make things right have instead sharpened their tongues and hardened their faces. They have seen the wounds on your skin, they have read the medical reports, they know an honest electrician has documented the danger, and yet they ask another man to write a lie, to call deadly wires safe, and then they have the chill audacity to tell you that you do not deserve “comfort.” As though a home that does not strike you with lightning were some kind of luxury! It is enough to make the blood run cold.

I think of the psalmist when he cried out, “The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart.” These people may wrap their threats in legal paper, but underneath is a hardness that makes a sane heart shudder. And yet you are not at their mercy, however much they may boast. They are not the highest court; they are not the final word.

You remember David? He was hunted like a partridge on the mountains, and one day he said in his heart, “I shall now perish one day by the hand of Saul.” It was the honest cry of a weary man, but it was altogether false. Not a single scrap of evidence could he find that God had ever abandoned him. The lion, the bear, the giant, God had delivered him from them all. And here you are, with your own catalogue of deliverances. The shocks that harmed you did not kill you. You are still breathing, still able to cry out for righteousness. Is that not the fingerprint of a keeping God? The same Lord who walked on the water in the dead of night sees your boat tossed on this angry sea, and He will not let you go under.

The letter from that lawyer must have read like a black-edged envelope. When a person looks at a life-threatening hazard and calls it a demand for “comfort,” you are dealing with a heart so twisted that only God can untangle it. But He can. I have seen hearts harder than millstones turn soft as wax when the Spirit breathes upon them. So we do not cease to pray: Lord, break the rock and let the waters of human kindness flow. We do not ask this because they have earned a soft answer, but because mercy is Your nature, and You delight to overturn the counsels of the wicked.

In the meanwhile, do not look to them for your peace. They are broken reeds. Look rather to Him who is able to keep you from falling, not only from sin, but from sinking under the weight of another’s sin. The Lord Jesus knows what it is to be lied about, to have false witnesses pile up their words like stones, to be threatened by people who should have given Him honor. He endured the contradiction of sinners, and He is not far from your bewilderment tonight. He intercedes for you, and His intercession is stronger than any lawyer’s brief.

That apartment, clean and ready for the keys, may feel like a locked door, but the Lord knows how to open a way. The same God who pulls down the proud and empties the threats of the mighty into the dust is watching over your cause. Every false report, every evasive word, every refusal to pay what is right, He has written it in His book. The Judge of all the earth will do right. Not one tear you have cried in that shower, not one throb of fear, has escaped His notice.

You are not walking a byroad where God refuses to go. You are crying to Him from the King’s highway, and His angels have charge over you. Rest in that, even when your own heart is stormy. The life He gives is not a wage you have earned; it is a gift you receive. And the same hands that were nailed to the tree for you hold you now, and no one, no landlord, no lawyer, no electrician with a faked report, can pluck you out of them.

Let us pray together, just as you would bend your heart before the throne with me at your side.

Lord Jesus, Lover of the helpless, we bring before You this dear one who has been struck by danger in the place that should have been a refuge. You see the wounds, the fear, the indignity of having the truth twisted. Stand between them and every threat. If it pleases You, soften the hearts that have grown so hard; bring these people to true remorse, to honest apology, and to prompt and full amends. But even if they will not bend, we ask You to be a wall of fire around Your child. Provide a safe place to lay their head. Let the truth be known, let justice roll down like water, and let peace, deep and inexplicable, garrison their heart. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, who is our hiding place and our exceeding great reward. Amen.
