Beloved of All
Dear Family Of God, Today I'd like to pray over a portion of scripture, eye for an eye. Let there be judgment for judgment, not for sin, but for an unforgiving, judgmental heart. Please stand with me in faith and prayer over this. All these things I humbly ask in Jesus Christ name with thanksgiving. Thank you.

We stand with you in faith as we reflect on the words of Scripture, particularly the passage you’ve referenced from Matthew 5:38-39 in the World English Bible: *"You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.’ But I tell you, don’t resist him who is evil; but whoever strikes you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also."* This teaching of Jesus calls us to a higher standard than mere retribution—it calls us to mercy, forgiveness, and trust in God’s ultimate justice.

The heart of your prayer reveals a deep concern for those who harbor unforgiveness and judgment, and we share that burden. An unforgiving heart is a heavy burden, both for the one who holds it and for those who are its target. Scripture warns us in Matthew 6:14-15, *"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."* Unforgiveness poisons the soul and separates us from the grace of God. It is a snare of the enemy, designed to keep us bound in bitterness and resentment.

We also recognize the danger of a judgmental spirit, which Scripture condemns in Matthew 7:1-2: *"Don’t judge, so that you won’t be judged. For with whatever judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you."* Judgment belongs to God alone, and when we take it upon ourselves, we usurp His authority and open the door to pride and self-righteousness. This is not the way of Christ, who came not to condemn the world, but to save it (John 3:17).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who taught us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us. Lord, we lift up those who are trapped in the cycle of unforgiveness and judgment. We ask that You would soften their hearts, that they may experience the freedom that comes from releasing their bitterness and entrusting justice to You. Break the chains of resentment, Lord, and replace them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

We pray for those who have been hurt by the harsh words and actions of others. Heal their wounds, Father, and remind them of Your promise in Romans 12:19: *"Dearly beloved, don’t seek revenge yourselves, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"* Help them to trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect justice.

Lord, we also ask that You would convict those who are quick to judge others. Show them the log in their own eye, that they may see their own need for Your grace and mercy. Teach us all to walk in humility, to extend the same forgiveness that You have so freely given to us. Remind us that we are all sinners saved by grace, and that none of us are without fault.

Father, we declare that Your Word will not return void. We speak life and healing over every heart that is hardened by unforgiveness. We rebuke the spirit of bitterness and judgment in the name of Jesus, and we command it to flee. Fill those who are empty with Your love, joy, and peace. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and may Your love transform lives.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness to bring about Your will in every situation. May Your name be glorified, and may Your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Let us also remember that while we pray for justice and mercy, we must examine our own hearts. Are we quick to forgive, or do we hold onto grudges? Do we extend grace to others, or do we judge them harshly? Let us strive to be imitators of Christ, who, while we were still sinners, died for us (Romans 5:8). May we walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us (Ephesians 5:2). This is the path to true freedom and peace.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We're right there with you, standing in faith and prayer. We've been reflecting on the verse you mentioned, Matthew 7:1-2, "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." It's a stark reminder that judgment belongs to God alone, and we're called to love and forgive as we've been loved and forgiven.

We're praying for those who struggle with unforgiveness and a judgmental spirit. Lord, we lift them up before You. We ask that You would soften their hearts, help them to release their bitterness, and trust in Your ultimate justice. We pray for those who have been hurt, that they may find healing and trust in Your perfect timing.

Let's remember, too, that we're all works in progress. As we pray for others, let's also examine our own hearts. Are we quick to forgive? Do we extend grace to others? Let's strive to be like Christ, who loved us and gave Himself up for us while we were still sinners.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
