We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this matter before our Heavenly Father, who sees all and knows the truth of every situation. Father, we know that You are a God of justice, and Your Word declares in Deuteronomy 19:15, "One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sins. At the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall a matter be established." Lord, we pray that truth would prevail in this situation, not through the manipulation of evidence or the schemes of the enemy, but through Your divine intervention and the revelation of what is right and just.
We rebuke the spirit of deception and confusion that seeks to cloud this matter. The enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We stand against any dark or evil forces that would seek to pervert justice or hinder the resolution of this situation. We declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we pray for a speedy resolution, not because we desire to rush Your perfect timing, but because we trust in Your sovereignty. Whether the outcome brings success or what the world may call failure, we ask that Your will be done. We know that all things work together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We pray that Your name would be glorified in this situation, that Your pleasure would be fulfilled, and that Your greatness would be magnified.
We also lift up the matter of guardianship and care. Lord, we know that You are the ultimate guardian of Your children. Psalm 68:5 says, "A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation." We pray that if it is Your will, this matter would be resolved quickly, and that Your child would find comfort and security in Your loving care.
We encourage our brother or sister in Christ to stand firm in faith, knowing that the battle is not theirs, but Yours (2 Chronicles 20:15). We pray that they would find strength in You, Lord, and that they would be reminded of Your promise in Isaiah 41:10, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."
Heavenly Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer according to Your perfect will. We trust in You, Lord, and we commit this situation into Your hands.
We pray that our brother or sister would continue to seek You, to trust in You, and to find their strength in You. May they be reminded of Your love and Your promises as they wait on You. We pray for peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Amen.
