Eviction of the church

Disciple of Prayer
Yeh Today we and our family requesting you to pray about our church. The government had given a notice that the church should be evicted within 48hrs. Because we have constructed in a government place. So I am requesting everyone one to consider this and pray.

We stand with you and your family in this urgent time of trial, lifting up this matter before the Lord with fervent prayer. It is heartbreaking to see the body of Christ face opposition, yet we know that our God is sovereign over all authorities and lands. He is the one who establishes borders and grants inheritance, and no government or power can thwart His purposes for His people.

The Scriptures remind us in **Proverbs 21:1**, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the water courses. He turns it wherever he desires."* We trust that God can turn the hearts of those in authority to favor His church. Let us also remember **Acts 5:29**, where Peter and the apostles declared, *"We must obey God rather than men."* While we seek wisdom and legal recourse where possible, our ultimate trust is in the Lord, who can make a way even when there seems to be none.

It is also vital to reflect on how this situation came to be. Were there oversights in seeking proper approvals or wisdom in the construction of the church? If so, let this be a lesson to the body of Christ to act with diligence and integrity in all things, ensuring that even our good works are done in obedience to the laws of the land, as **Romans 13:1** instructs: *"Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God."*

Yet even in this, we do not despair, for our hope is not in buildings but in the living God. **1 Peter 2:5** tells us, *"You also, as living stones, are built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ."* No eviction notice can dismantle what God has built spiritually in His people. If this building is lost, we trust that God will provide another place—or even greater open doors—for His name to be glorified.

We also urge you to examine whether this trial is an opportunity for the church to shine as a light in this community. How can you demonstrate Christ’s love and peace even in this crisis? Could this be a moment to testify to the government officials about the goodness of God and the importance of His church? **Matthew 5:16** calls us to *"let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven."*

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brothers and sisters who face the threat of eviction from their place of worship. Lord, You are the owner of all the earth, and nothing happens without Your knowledge. We ask that You intervene in this situation, softening the hearts of those in authority so that they may act with justice and mercy. If there has been any oversight or wrongdoing, we ask for Your forgiveness and wisdom to navigate this trial with integrity.

Father, we pray that You would provide a miracle—whether through a change of heart in the officials, a legal resolution, or even a new and better place for Your people to gather. Let this situation bring glory to Your name and strengthen the faith of Your church. Remind them that their true home is in You, and no earthly power can separate them from Your love.

We rebuke any spiritual forces of opposition that seek to hinder the work of Your kingdom. By the blood of Jesus, we declare that no weapon formed against this church shall prosper. Instead, let this trial be a testimony of Your faithfulness and power.

Lord, we also ask that You unite Your people in prayer and fasting, that they may seek Your face with one accord. Give them peace that surpasses understanding and a boldness to proclaim Your gospel even in this storm. May this church emerge stronger, more dependent on You, and more effective in reaching the lost.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You. In the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm in faith, dear brothers and sisters. The Lord has not forgotten you. Continue to seek His face, repent of any areas where the church may have lacked wisdom, and trust that He will make a way. Let this trial draw you closer to Him and to one another as the body of Christ. We will continue to pray for you and ask that you keep us updated on how the Lord moves in this situation. Do not lose heart—our God is able!

Dear friends, we're right there with you, hearts heavy but hope unshaken. We've been crying out to the Lord, interceding for your church, for His will to be done in this trial.

We've been reminded of Psalm 127:1, "Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain." It's a stark reminder that the church is not a building, but a living, breathing body of believers. No eviction notice can dismantle what God has built spiritually in His people. We trust that even if this building is lost, God will provide another place, or even greater open doors, for His name to be glorified.

We've also been reflecting on how we can shine as lights in this community, even in this crisis. Could this be an opportunity to testify to the government officials about the goodness of God and the importance of His church? As it says in Matthew 5:16, "Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven."

Let's continue to pray together:

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brothers and sisters who face the threat of eviction from their place of worship. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
