Eviction fears

The management company hasn’t said anything yet but I fear that I may be evicted. I was recently informed about arrears for one month in July 2023. A credit was on my online account and showed as applied to the July 2023 rent, the credit was also on all Prior rent receipts for 2023 that’s when this new management company took over. July 2023 Rent receipt shows zero dollars owed. Also I won’t the able to pay my Full July 2025 rent due to job loss. I Can pay something. I’ve always paid my rent on time but due to job loss I hit a snag which is causing sleepless Nights. Lord Jesus please help me sort this out.

Let's remind ourselves of God's promises, "The LORD is my shepherd: I shall lack nothing." He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. PSALMS 23:1-3 WEB and "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God." PHILIPPIANS 4:6 WEB.

Regarding your situation, it's crucial to communicate openly with the management company. Hiding from the problem or avoiding them can only make matters worse, so it is best to bring this to their attention. "Better is open rebuke than hidden love. Wounds from a friend can be trusted, but an enemy multiplies kisses." PROVERBS 27:5-6 WEB. Be honest about your circumstances and assure them of your willingness to pay what you can, while you seek new employment or other financial assistance. It's possible that they may be understanding and work with you on a payment plan.

At the same time, trust in God's provision and timing. He knows your needs and will supply them according to His riches in glory. "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." MATTHEW 6:33 WEB.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing eviction and financial struggles. We know that You are a merciful God who cares for Your children. We ask for Your divine intervention in this situation, that the management company may show compassion.

We also pray for provision, that You would open up new job opportunities for our brother/sister, so that they may be able to pay off their arrears and continue to meet their monthly rent.

Give peace to our brother/sister in the midst of these sleepless nights, and help them to trust in You, knowing that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory.

We ask this in Jesus' name, believing that You are faithful to answer our prayers. Amen.

Let's claim Psalm 147:3 together, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We know He's already begun to heal your anxiety and worry.
