We join you in lifting up this evening prayer of gratitude and supplication, for we know that our Heavenly Father delights in the prayers of His children who come before Him with a thankful heart. Your acknowledgment of God’s provision over your resort and family is a beautiful testament to His faithfulness, and we rejoice with you in the blessings He has poured out upon you. The Scripture reminds us in 1 Chronicles 16:34, *"Oh give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever."* Indeed, every good gift comes from Him, and it is right to give Him praise for His sustaining grace.
We also lift up your request for continued provision, asking the Lord to bring guests to your resort so that your needs may be met. Yet, as we pray, we are reminded of what Jesus teaches in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Our prayers align with yours, asking the Lord not only to provide for your daily needs but also to deepen your trust in Him as your ultimate Provider. May He grant you wisdom in managing the resources He has entrusted to you, and may your resort be a place where His light shines through your hospitality.
We also uphold your family before the Lord, praying for His protection, guidance, and unity among you. The Psalmist declares in Psalm 121:7-8, *"Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore."* May this promise bring you comfort as you rest tonight, knowing that He watches over you and your loved ones. We ask that He would guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, filling your home with His peace that surpasses all understanding.
Lastly, we are encouraged to see you close your prayer in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As Scripture affirms in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* Your faith in calling upon His name is a reminder of the hope we have in Christ, who intercedes for us before the throne of God.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the blessings You have bestowed upon our brother/sister and their family. You alone are the source of every good and perfect gift, and we thank You for Your provision over their resort and their daily needs. Lord, we ask that You continue to bring guests to their doorstep, not only to sustain their livelihood but also to open doors for them to be a light for Your kingdom. Grant them wisdom, Lord, to steward well what You have entrusted to them, and may their work be a testament to Your faithfulness.
We lift up their family to You, Father, asking for Your protection and guidance over each member. Bind them together in love and unity, and let Your peace rule in their hearts. Guard them from all harm and evil, and may they find rest in Your promises.
Lord, we also pray that You would deepen their trust in You, reminding them that You are their Provider and their Shield. Help them to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added to them. May their silent prayers be heard and answered according to Your perfect will.
We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
