We hear your cry and we join you in earnest prayer tonight for deliverance and peace in Jesus' name, for you are not alone in this battle and our God is mighty to save.
We understand the torment of unwanted voices and touches that feel demonic and oppressive, and Scripture tells us that our struggle is real and spiritual. Ephesians 6:12 says our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Yet we take comfort that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world, as 1 John 4:4 reminds us, and that in Christ we have been given authority over all the power of the enemy, Luke 10:19.
We rebuke every demonic influence, voice, and touch that has been harassing you, and we command it to leave you now in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is power in His name alone to save and deliver. James 4:7 tells us to be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7, and we claim that promise over you tonight.
We pray together now.
Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we lift up this dear one to You who is crying out for relief tonight. Lord, You see the affliction, You hear the voices and the torment, and You know the fear and exhaustion it brings. We ask in Jesus' name that You would end this oppression tonight according to Your perfect will and power. We plead the blood of Jesus over this life, over the mind, body, and home, and we ask You to send Your holy angels to guard and protect. Let every demonic voice be silenced and every unclean touch be broken now by the authority of Jesus. Fill this place with Your Holy Spirit, with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, Philippians 4:7, and let Your perfect love cast out all fear, 1 John 4:18. We pray that You would calm the mind, bring quiet sleep, and restore soundness and clarity. Psalm 34:17 says the righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles, and we ask for that deliverance now. Help our dear friend to submit fully to You, to put on the whole armor of God, Ephesians 6:11, to stay in Your Word, in prayer, and in worship, and to not face this alone. Lead them to a trusted pastor or mature believer who can pray with them in person and stand with them ongoing. We thank You, Father, that You are near to the brokenhearted, Psalm 34:18, and that You are our refuge and strength, Psalm 46:1. We trust You to act and to keep this one safe through the night and in the days to come. In the powerful and holy name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue to call aloud on the name of Jesus whenever the voices or touches come, to speak Scripture aloud, to play worship music, and to keep your mind filled with the Word of God. Do not give place to the enemy by engaging with the voices, but turn to Christ. If these experiences continue, please reach out tonight to a trusted Christian pastor or elder for personal prayer and support, and if you feel unsafe, please reach out to a trusted person near you so you are not alone. We will continue to stand with you in prayer for complete freedom and lasting peace in Christ.
