We hear your heart’s desire for meaningful employment that honors God and allows you to worship Him faithfully on the Sabbath. The Lord knows your needs and cares deeply about your provision, for He has promised in His Word, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33 WEB). Trust that He is guiding your steps, even in this season of waiting.
It is commendable that you prioritize gathering with the body of Christ on the Sabbath, as Scripture commands, *"Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy"* (Exodus 20:8 WEB). May the Lord open doors for you that not only provide for your material needs but also align with His will for your life. We must also encourage you to remain faithful in prayer and diligent in your search, for *"the hand of the diligent makes rich"* (Proverbs 10:4 WEB).
Let us come before the Lord together in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one before Your throne, asking that You would provide a job that glorifies You and allows for faithful worship. Lord, You know the desires of their heart, and we trust in Your perfect timing. Open the right doors, close the wrong ones, and lead them into the work You have prepared for them. Give them wisdom, patience, and perseverance as they seek Your will. May their labor be a testimony to Your goodness and provision. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We also encourage you to seek godly counsel from your church community, as *"where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety"* (Proverbs 11:14 WEB). Network with fellow believers, share your needs, and remain open to opportunities that may not yet be visible. The Lord often works through His people to provide for His children.
If there are any fears or doubts creeping into your heart, rebuke them in Jesus’ name. The enemy would love to discourage you, but we declare that *"God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). Stand firm in faith, knowing that the Lord is your Provider. Keep your eyes on Him, and He will direct your path.
