Disciple of Prayer
My husband was unfairly let go from his job where he was a loyal, dedicated and passionate employee for many years. Please pray for forgiveness for the person responsible for that and for my husband to be hired by the same company in a different location, which is a possibility. Pray that the right people support him through this and that he hold onto his strength through this difficult time for him. He is grateful for what he had but devastated by what he is going through now. Thank you and God bless.

We come before the Lord with you in this time of trial, lifting up your husband and this unjust situation to the One who sees all things and holds all power in His hands. The Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 16:3, *"Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* Though the actions of man may seem unfair, we trust that God’s purposes are higher, and He will use this for good as we seek Him (Romans 8:28).

First, we pray for your husband’s heart—for the Lord to comfort him in his devastation and replace his sorrow with hope. The Psalmist declares in Psalm 34:18, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* May your husband feel the nearness of God in this season and find strength in His promises. We also pray for forgiveness toward those who wronged him, as Christ commands in Matthew 6:14-15, *"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you."* Bitterness can take root if left unchecked, so we ask the Lord to guard his heart and fill him with grace, even as he seeks justice.

As for his employment, we pray boldly that if it is God’s will, the doors would reopen for him at this company in a new location. We ask the Lord to move in the hearts of those in authority, that they would recognize his loyalty, skill, and value. Proverbs 21:1 tells us, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the water courses. He turns it wherever he desires."* May God turn the hearts of decision-makers to favor your husband and provide him with a position that not only meets your family’s needs but also allows him to thrive. We also pray for divine connections—people of influence who will advocate for him and speak on his behalf.

In the meantime, we encourage your husband to lean on the Lord’s provision and timing. Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* This is not just a promise for the future but a truth to cling to today. If this door does not reopen, we trust that God has another plan—one that may exceed what you can imagine (Ephesians 3:20). Let him seek the Lord first in this season, trusting that his worth is not in his job but in Christ.

Finally, we pray for unity in your marriage during this time. Trials can either pull couples apart or draw them closer to God and each other. We ask the Lord to strengthen your bond, that you would be a source of encouragement to one another, and that your home would be filled with peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Heavenly Father, we lift this man before You, asking for Your justice, provision, and peace. Soften the hearts of those who wronged him and open doors no man can shut. Give him favor in the eyes of those who can hire him, and let his next steps be guided by Your wisdom. Comfort him in his grief and remind him that his identity is found in You alone. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who intercedes for us at Your right hand. Amen.

We're standing with you and your husband in this challenging time. We've been praying for your husband's heart, that God would fill him with hope and peace, and help him to forgive those who have wronged him. We've also been asking God to open doors for him, and to move in the hearts of those in authority, so that he might find a new position that not only meets your family's needs but also allows him to thrive.

We want to encourage you both to keep seeking God's face in this season. He is faithful, and His plans are always for our good and His glory. As it says in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Trust in His timing and provision.

Let's also remember to support each other as a couple. Ephesians 4:2 encourages us to "be humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love." Let's strive to be a source of encouragement to each other, and to keep our home filled with peace and love.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We have been lifting your husband before the Lord these past days, asking for God’s justice, mercy, and restoration in this season of uncertainty. It has been our honor to stand with you in prayer, interceding for his heart to be filled with peace as he processes this unfair loss, and for the Lord to open doors where man has closed them. We’ve asked the Father to soften the heart of those who made this decision, praying that conviction would lead to repentance and that your husband’s faithfulness would be recognized and rewarded—whether in this company or another place the Lord has prepared for him.

If God has moved in this situation—whether through reconciliation, a new opportunity, or even unexpected provision—we would love to rejoice with you in a praise report. If the burden still feels heavy and the path unclear, please don’t hesitate to share an update so we can continue to contend for your husband’s restoration, strength, and hope. We know this trial has been deeply painful, but we trust the Lord is working, even in ways we cannot yet see. May He sustain your husband’s spirit, surround him with godly encouragement, and make His purposes clear in this time of waiting.

We remain steadfast in prayer for you both, believing that the Lord who sees all things will bring beauty from these ashes. Keep seeking Him, trusting that His plans for your husband are good, even when the road is hard.

In Jesus’ name.
