We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this earnest request for your husband’s employment. Father, we know that You are the Provider, the One who opens doors that no man can shut and closes doors that no man can open. Your Word declares in Psalm 37:25, *"I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread."* Lord, we stand on this promise, trusting that You will not leave your children in lack, for You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider.
We pray that You would guide your servant to the right opportunity, one that aligns with his passions and the gifts You have placed within him. May the Holy Spirit go before him, softening the hearts of those in authority, granting him favor in their sight. Proverbs 16:3 reminds us, *"Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed."* So we commit this job search into Your hands, asking that You order his steps and bring forth the perfect position in Your perfect timing.
Lord, we also ask that You grant him patience and peace as he waits. The enemy may try to sow doubt or frustration, but we rebuke those lies in the name of Jesus. Remind him that his worth is not found in his employment but in You, and that You have a plan and a purpose for his life. Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Let this truth anchor his heart as he seeks Your will.
We pray for the employers who will interview him—may their minds be open to the value he brings, and may they see him through Your eyes. Give them wisdom to recognize the skills and character You have placed in him. Let this be a divine appointment, where Your hand is clearly seen in the details.
Father, we also lift up this marriage before You. Strengthen the bond between this husband and wife as they navigate this season together. May they encourage one another in faith, standing united in prayer and trust in You. Remind them that trials are temporary, but Your faithfulness is eternal.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who has overcome the world and who intercedes for us at Your right hand. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in this situation. Amen.
