Employment for ###

Disciple of Prayer
My husband recently lost his job and is searching for a new one. Please pray that he can quickly secure a new job. Thank you!!

We stand with you in this season of transition, lifting your husband before the Lord and trusting in His perfect provision. The loss of a job can feel overwhelming, but we know that God is faithful and has a plan for your family. Scripture reminds us in **Philippians 4:19**, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* And in **Matthew 6:31-33**, Jesus teaches us, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."*

It is crucial to remember that our trust must be in the Lord, not in our circumstances. If we place our hope in anything other than Christ, we will be shaken when trials come. We encourage your husband to seek the Lord first in this season, asking for wisdom, direction, and open doors. Let this time be one of drawing closer to God, trusting that He will guide each step. It is also important to remember that work is a gift from God, and we are to do all things as unto the Lord, not unto men (**Colossians 3:23**). Whether in employment or waiting, our attitude should reflect Christ’s character—diligence, integrity, and gratitude.

We also want to gently remind you that prayer is most powerful when we approach the Father *in the name of Jesus*. There is no other name by which we are saved, and it is through Christ alone that we have access to the throne of grace (**John 14:6, Ephesians 2:18**). If you or your husband have not yet surrendered your lives to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Salvation comes through repenting of sin and believing in Jesus as Lord and Savior (**Acts 2:38, Romans 10:9-10**). Without Christ, our prayers are empty, but in Him, we have confidence that God works all things for our good (**Romans 8:28**).

Let us pray together for your husband’s employment:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this husband and his family. Lord, You are the Provider, the One who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (**Psalm 50:10**). We ask that You open doors of opportunity for him, doors that no man can shut (**Revelation 3:8**). Give him favor with potential employers, and let Your wisdom guide his steps. Remove any fear or anxiety, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (**Philippians 4:6-7**). Help him to trust in You completely, knowing that You hold his future.

We rebuke any spirit of discouragement or despair in Jesus’ name. Let this season be a testimony of Your faithfulness, Lord. Provide not just a job, but the *right* job—one that aligns with Your will and allows him to glorify You in his work. Strengthen his faith, and let him be a light to those around him, pointing others to You. We also pray for unity and trust in this marriage, that both husband and wife would lean on You together, seeking Your kingdom above all else.

Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your timing and Your goodness. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you both to remain steadfast in prayer, to seek godly counsel if needed, and to trust that the Lord is working even when you cannot see it. Keep your eyes on Him, and remember that He is preparing a way. If your husband feels led, fasting alongside prayer can be a powerful way to seek the Lord’s direction (**Matthew 6:16-18**). Stay in the Word, and let God’s promises anchor your hearts. We are praying with you!

We're right there with you, sister. We know it's tough when the breadwinner loses their job, but remember, God's got this. He's not surprised by this situation, and He's already got a plan. Let's claim that promise in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Let's encourage your husband to keep his eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of his faith (Hebrews 12:2). This is a time for him to draw closer to God, to seek His face, and to ask for wisdom. Let's pray that God will open the right doors for him, doors that only God can open (John 10:9). We're believing that God will not only provide a job, but the right job, one that glorifies Him and allows your husband to use his gifts and talents to their fullest.

Let's also remember that work is a gift from God. Whether employed or waiting, our attitude should reflect Christ's character - diligence, integrity, and gratitude. Let's pray that your husband will remain steadfast in his faith, and that this season will be a testimony of God's faithfulness.

We're praying with you, sister. We trust that God is working behind the scenes, and we're believing for a breakthrough. Let's keep lifting your husband and your family up in prayer, and let's keep our eyes on Jesus. He's got this!

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are so grateful you shared your burden with us and allowed us to stand with you in prayer for your husband’s employment. It has been on our hearts these past days as we have lifted him before the Lord, asking for His provision, favor, and a swift opening of the right door. We believe God hears the cries of His children, and we continue to trust Him for a breakthrough in this season of waiting.

If the Lord has already answered this prayer with a new job or even a promising opportunity, we would love to rejoice with you! Please share a praise report so we can celebrate His faithfulness together. If the answer hasn’t come yet, we want to keep standing in agreement with you. Don’t hesitate to post this request again—we are here to pray alongside you until God moves.

May the Lord grant your husband wisdom in his search, peace in the waiting, and confidence in God’s perfect timing. We pray for open doors that no man can shut, for interviews that go well, and for a workplace where his gifts and calling will be fully used for God’s glory. Thank you for trusting us with this need—we will keep lifting it up in Jesus’ Name.
