We hear the deep anguish in your heart, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting every burden before the throne of grace. The weight you carry is heavy, betrayal, persecution, emotional abuse, and the relentless attacks of the enemy, but we declare that Jesus Christ is your refuge, your strength, and your deliverer. You are not forgotten, nor are you abandoned. The Lord sees your tears, hears your cries, and collects every one in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). He has not turned His face from you, even when it feels like the world has.
First, we must address the lies that have taken root in your heart. You said, "God could care less about me!" This is not true. The Word of God declares, "Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you! Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands" (Isaiah 49:15-16). The Lord’s love for you is unshakable, and His plans for you are for good, not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11). Even when the enemy whispers accusations, we rebuke those lies in the name of Jesus. The devil is a liar, and his goal is to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Christ came that you might have life, and have it abundantly.
You mentioned feeling cursed by witches and evil forces. We take this seriously, for the Bible warns us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). We stand in the authority of Jesus Christ and command every evil spirit of accusation, persecution, and torment to flee from you in Jesus’ name! The blood of Jesus has broken every curse (Galatians 3:13), and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that the Lord would surround you with His holy angels to guard and protect you, and that He would expose every hidden work of darkness against you.
The emotional abuse you endure from your father and others is grievous, and we grieve with you. The Bible commands fathers not to provoke their children to anger (Ephesians 6:4), and the cruelty you face is not of God. But we also remind you that your worth is not defined by man’s approval or rejection. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and your identity is found in Christ alone. We pray for your father, that the Lord would soften his heart and lead him to repentance. But we also pray for your healing, may the Lord bind up your broken heart and set you free from the chains of bitterness and unforgiveness (Isaiah 61:1).
You spoke of your past being used against you. This is a tactic of the enemy to keep you in bondage to shame. But if you have confessed your sins and repented, then they are forgiven and forgotten by God (1 John 1:9, Hebrews 8:12). The accuser of the brethren (Revelation 12:10) wants to keep you in guilt, but we declare that you are washed clean by the blood of Jesus! The past has no power over you unless you allow it. We rebuke every spirit of condemnation and remind you that there is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1).
The persecution you face for your faith is a sign that you are on the right path. Jesus said, "Blessed are you when people revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven" (Matthew 5:11-12). The world hated Him first, and it will hate those who follow Him (John 15:18). But take heart, He has overcome the world (John 16:33). We pray that the Lord would give you boldness to stand firm in your faith, even when others mock or slander you.
You mentioned the pressure of success, fame, and the love of money. The Bible warns us that "the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil" (1 Timothy 6:10), and that "a man’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions" (Luke 12:15). True fulfillment is found in Christ alone. We pray that the Lord would shift your focus from the world’s definition of success to His kingdom purposes. May you seek first His righteousness, and trust that all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33).
The betrayal you’ve experienced is painful, but remember that even Jesus was betrayed by those closest to Him. Yet He entrusted Himself to the Father (1 Peter 2:23). We pray that the Lord would heal your heart from the wounds of betrayal and restore your ability to trust. But we also caution you, while people may fail you, God never will. He is the only one who is truly faithful (2 Timothy 2:13).
You expressed fear of becoming homeless and struggling with mental health. We pray for provision and stability over your life. The Lord is your shepherd; you shall not want (Psalm 23:1). He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). We also pray for your mental health, that the Lord would calm your anxiety, lift your depression, and fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). You are not alone in this battle.
Lastly, we must address your statement: "I’m sorry I failed you!" You have not failed God. Even in your weakness, He is strong (2 Corinthians 12:9). His grace is sufficient for you, and His power is made perfect in your weakness. You are not a failure, you are a child of the Most High God, and He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother, lifting every burden, every wound, and every attack of the enemy. Lord, You see his pain, his exhaustion, and his cry for help. We ask that You would be his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Break every chain of emotional abuse, persecution, and spiritual attack in the mighty name of Jesus. We rebuke every spirit of accusation, condemnation, and torment, and we command them to flee in Jesus’ name!
Father, we pray for healing over his heart, heal the wounds of betrayal, rejection, and abandonment. Restore his joy and renew his strength (Isaiah 40:31). Give him boldness to stand firm in his faith, even when others mock or slander him. Surround him with godly community that will encourage and uplift him.
Lord, we ask for provision and stability in his life. Open doors that no man can shut, and provide for his every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Calm his anxiety and fill him with Your perfect peace. Remind him daily that his worth is found in You alone, not in the approval of man.
Father, we pray for his family, soften the hearts of his father and half-brother. Bring conviction where there is hardness, and lead them to repentance. But also give our brother the grace to forgive, even as You have forgiven him (Colossians 3:13).
Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, he shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). You are his defender, his provider, and his peace. Help him to fix his eyes on You, the author and perfecter of his faith (Hebrews 12:2).
We thank You, Father, that You are working all things together for his good. Strengthen him, encourage him, and remind him that he is never alone. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
