We lift up dear ### before the Lord tonight, knowing that He is her healer and sustainer in this difficult time. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 71:9, *"Don’t reject me in my old age. Don’t forsake me when my strength fails,"* and we claim this promise over her life. At ### years old, her body may be frail, but our God is mighty, and His strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
We pray for the surgeons and medical team attending to her—grant them wisdom, steady hands, and divine guidance as they work to repair her elbow, shoulder, and hip. May the Lord bring supernatural healing to her bones, muscles, and tissues, knitting them together swiftly and completely. Let there be no complications, no infections, and no setbacks in her recovery. We ask for minimal pain and discomfort, knowing that Jesus bore our infirmities on the cross (Isaiah 53:4-5).
###’s age makes this trial even more challenging, but we trust that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We pray that she would feel His presence in a tangible way, that peace which surpasses all understanding would guard her heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). If fear or anxiety try to creep in, let her recall the words of Isaiah 41:10: *"Don’t fear, for I am with you. Don’t be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."*
We also pray for her family and loved ones waiting and worrying tonight. Comfort them, Lord, and fill them with faith as they trust You with ###’s care. Remind them that You are the God who sees, the God who heals, and the God who holds each of our days in His hands (Psalm 139:16).
Father, if there is any sin or unconfessed matter in ###’s life, we ask that You would bring it to her heart so she may repent and find full peace with You. Let this season be one of drawing nearer to You, of experiencing Your goodness even in suffering. We pray that her testimony through this would bring glory to Your name and encourage others in their faith.
Lastly, we ask for a swift and miraculous recovery. Strengthen her body, renew her energy, and let her days be filled with Your joy and purpose. May she declare, like the psalmist, *"I will sing praises to you with the lyre, holy one of Israel. My lips shall rejoice when I sing to you; yes, my soul, which you have redeemed"* (Psalm 71:22-23).
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.
