We join with you in faith and in agreement for God's favor, blessing, and glory to be revealed, and we thank you for inviting us to stand with you in prayer in the name of Jesus Christ.

Your heart to see God's power and goodness poured out is beautiful, and we rejoice that you have come with thanksgiving as we are taught in Philippians 4:6, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. We also agree with your desire to see His glory cover the earth, as it is written in Habakkuk 2:14, For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of Yahweh, as the waters cover the sea. And we take seriously your call to pray against darkness, remembering Ephesians 6:12, For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

We do want to gently encourage you as we pray together that our greatest desire would be not only for miracles and blessings themselves, but for the Giver of every good gift and for His perfect will to be done. James 1:17 reminds us, Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variableness nor shadow of turning. And we are promised in Psalm 84:11, For Yahweh God is a sun and a shield. Yahweh will give grace and glory. He will withhold no good thing from those who walk blamelessly. When we seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, He delights to pour out His favor according to His wisdom and love, and we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose in Romans 8:28. We also cling to the promise in Ephesians 3:20, Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, and we trust Him to do abundantly more than we can imagine, in His way and in His timing. Jesus also assures us in Matthew 18:19, Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven.

So we pray together now.

Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, with thanksgiving in our hearts. We ask for Your favor to rest upon this life and upon all who are seeking You, not because we deserve it but because of Your mercy and grace. We ask that You would pour out Your blessings and work miracles according to Your perfect will, that Your name alone would receive all the glory. We pray against every principality and power of darkness in high places, and we ask that the light of Christ would overcome every work of the enemy. Let Your unstoppable, unspeakable and abounding glory be seen all over the world, let hearts be turned to You, let the lost be saved, let the broken be healed, and let Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Strengthen our faith as we wait upon You, and help us to walk blamelessly before You, trusting that You withhold no good thing from those who love You. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We appreciate you sharing this heartfelt desire for God's favor and glory to be seen everywhere. Your thankfulness and hunger for Him to move comes through clearly, and we are honored to stand in agreement with you.

We hear your longing for miracles and for light to overcome darkness. It is good to bring those big prayers to God honestly while also trusting His wisdom in how and when He answers. Sometimes His glory shows up in quiet, steady ways as well as in dramatic ones, and He delights to hear you seek Him for the world and not just for yourself.

One simple way to stay encouraged as you pray is to keep bringing those requests before the Lord each day with thanksgiving as you are already doing, and to notice and thank Him for the small evidences of His kindness and power along the way. Walking with others who will pray with you regularly can also help keep your heart steady.

Father, we lift up our brother and sister to You and thank You for their faith and love for Your name. We ask for Your favor and mercy in their life and for Your glory to be known around the world. Guard them from the enemy's schemes and draw them closer to Jesus each day. Lead them in Your perfect will and fill them with peace as they trust You. In Jesus' name, amen.

[Spurgeon]

Your earnest request for blessing and favor has been heard, and we join you in bringing it before the throne of grace with thanksgiving in the name of Jesus Christ.

We are glad to stand with you in prayer, and we would guide your heart toward that which Scripture calls the truest answer to such a prayer. An enlightened man is grateful to God for temporal blessings, but he is much more grateful for spiritual blessings, for temporal blessings do not last long, they are soon gone. Temporal blessings are not definite marks of Divine favor, since God gives them to the unworthy and to the wicked, as well as to the righteous. The corn and wine and oil are for many who never know Him, while His own children may have troubles and cares in this life.

Therefore let us join in blessing the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in Christ. These are the rarest, the richest, the most enduring of all blessings, they are priceless in value. We have not one spiritual blessing which God did not give. We have never earned one, we could never create one. All spiritual blessings come from the Father, and He has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places, working upon us out of Heaven where He dwells. Spiritual blessings He reserves for His own redeemed, regenerate family, and their value is enhanced by their significance, because they are proofs of His eternal love towards us.

So we pray for you not only for outward favor, but for that inward and abiding favor which is found in Christ alone. We pray that you may know forgiveness, freedom and favor through His blood, that He would give you a new heart, for the Holy Spirit cannot dwell in the old heart which is full of enmity to God, and that He would put His Spirit within you. How positive and decisive are His promises, and when He turns in a way of grace to His people, He comes with all His soul most heartily to display His favor and His love toward the objects of His choice.

We do pray against the powers of darkness, knowing that our struggle is against principalities and powers in high places, and we rest in Christ who has overcome them. We pray that the glory of God may be seen in your life and throughout the world, not as an unspeakable outward display for its own sake, but as the fruit of faith and fellowship with Him, which are the true blessings of our mortal existence. What if we have our cares and anxieties, still the cheer and help are never wanting while we can cast our care upon Him who cares for us.

May the Lord grant you to seek first these heavenly blessings in Christ, and to find your heart leaping at the thought that the Most High should take delight in you through His Son. We pray that the Holy Spirit will make these reflections sweet to you, and that you may abound in gratitude to Him who has already blessed you with every spiritual blessing.

We commend you to His mercy and grace, praying that His will be done in your life for His glory. Amen.
