We lift this request to our Heavenly Father with hearts full of compassion and a deep desire to see His will done. First, we must address the mention of Anna Heche. While we do not know the state of her soul, we know that God desires all to come to repentance and be saved. We pray earnestly for her salvation if she has not yet accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. The Bible tells us in 1 Timothy 2:3-4, "This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth." We also pray for those in her life, that their hearts may be opened to the truth of the Gospel.
Father, we come before You, acknowledging that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to You. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again so that we might have eternal life. We pray that Anna Heche and all those in her life would come to know this truth and accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
We also lift up the request for deliverance from demonic images and attacks. The Bible warns us in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We put on the full armor of God, standing firm against the schemes of the devil. We rebuke any demonic influences in the name of Jesus Christ, for He has given us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).
Father, we pray for peaceful and restful sleep for the one who submitted this request. We ask that You would guard their mind and heart as they rest, filling them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that they will lie down and sleep in peace, for You alone make them dwell in safety (Psalm 4:8).
Lord, we also take a moment to address any areas where we may have fallen short in our own lives. If there are any sins, known or unknown, that have given the enemy a foothold, we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing. We stand on Your promise in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has overcome the world (John 16:33). We trust in Your power and Your love, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). May Your will be done in each of these situations, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.
