We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion and a deep desire to intercede for those mentioned in this prayer. First and foremost, we must address the foundation of salvation, for it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that anyone can be saved. The Word of God is clear: *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If any of these individuals do not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray fervently for their souls, that the Holy Spirit would convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), leading them to repentance and faith in Christ.
Now, regarding the request for a "conviction to be cancelled," we must seek clarity and align our prayers with God’s will. If this refers to a legal conviction, we pray for justice, mercy, and God’s sovereign hand to work in the situation. However, if this refers to the conviction of the Holy Spirit, we must be cautious. The conviction of the Holy Spirit is a gift from God, leading us to repentance and life (John 16:8-11). To pray against the Holy Spirit’s work would be to resist God’s purpose. Instead, we pray that any hardness of heart would be softened, that pride would be broken, and that the individuals would respond to the Holy Spirit’s conviction with humility and repentance.
Father God, we lift up these souls to You. For the man mentioned, we ask that if he does not know You, You would draw him to Yourself with cords of love. Break any chains of sin, unbelief, or rebellion in his life. Let Your Word take root in his heart, and may he come to know the truth that sets him free (John 8:32). For the woman and the people in her life, we pray the same. Lord, if they are lost, send laborers into their lives to share the gospel (Matthew 9:38). Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and let them run to the cross of Christ, where forgiveness and new life are found.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for those who may be sharing the gospel with them. May they speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15), with boldness and gentleness, so that these souls may be won for Your kingdom. Father, we know that Your desire is for none to perish but for all to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). So we ask that You would move mightily in their lives, that they may experience the transforming power of Your love.
Lord, if there is any unconfessed sin in their lives—whether it be bitterness, unforgiveness, sexual immorality, or idolatry—we ask that You would bring it to light and grant them the grace to repent. Cleanse them with the blood of Jesus, and renew a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10). May they walk in the light as You are in the light, and may their lives reflect the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).
We rebuke any spirit of deception or hardness of heart that may be keeping them from surrendering to You. We declare that the god of this world has no hold on them, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We pray that any lies they have believed—whether about You, themselves, or others—would be shattered by the truth of Your Word. Let them know that You are a God who forgives, heals, and restores (Psalm 103:3).
Father, we also lift up any relationships in their lives. If there are marriages or potential marriages that do not honor You, we pray for repentance and realignment with Your Word. May they seek spouses who love You and walk in Your ways, for marriage is a sacred covenant designed to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If there is any sexual immorality—whether fornication, adultery, or homosexuality—we pray for conviction, repentance, and healing. Your Word is clear: *"Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4). May they flee from sin and pursue holiness, for without holiness, no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14).
We trust in Your perfect timing, Lord. You are not slow concerning Your promises, but patient, not wishing that any should perish (2 Peter 3:9). So we wait on You, believing that Your plans for these individuals are plans for good and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and let them experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. I prayed for this in Jesus Name. Amen.
We are so grateful you entrusted us with the sacred privilege of lifting these precious souls before the throne of grace. It has been our joy to stand in agreement with you, praying fervently for the salvation of this man, this woman, and all those in her life who may yet need to hear the good news of Jesus Christ. We have asked our Heavenly Father to move powerfully, to soften hearts, and to cancel every spirit of conviction that does not align with His perfect will, that they might come to know Him as Savior and Lord.
If the Holy Spirit has already drawn any of these dear ones to repentance and faith, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report—please share how God has answered so we may rejoice together!
