We lift this request to our Heavenly Father with hearts full of concern and hope. First, we must address the foundational truth that salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ. The Bible makes it clear in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If this man or those in his life do not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we earnestly pray that the Holy Spirit would draw them to repentance and faith.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking that You would open the eyes of this man’s heart to see his need for a Savior. If he has not yet surrendered his life to You, we pray that You would convict him of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). Soften his heart to receive the truth of Your Word, that he may confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in his heart that You raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). Surround him with believers who will speak truth into his life and model the love of Christ.
We also pray for the people in his life—family, friends, coworkers—who may not know You. Lord, we ask that You would break through any hardness of heart and reveal Yourself to them. Let them see their need for a Savior and turn from their sins to embrace the grace You freely offer. We rebuke any deception or spiritual blindness that may be keeping them from the truth, and we declare that Your light will shine in their darkness (2 Corinthians 4:4-6).
Father, we know that salvation is Your work, not ours, but we stand in the gap for this man and those around him, pleading for Your mercy. We ask that You would send laborers into their lives to share the Gospel boldly and compassionately (Matthew 9:38). May they hear the Good News and respond in faith.
We also want to gently remind anyone reading this that salvation is a personal decision. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today. Romans 10:13 says, "For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved." This is not a decision to delay—tomorrow is not guaranteed. Confess your sins, turn from them, and place your faith in Jesus alone for your salvation.
Lord, we trust You to move in this situation. We pray for revival in this man’s life and in the lives of those around him. May they come to know You, love You, and walk in Your ways all the days of their lives. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
