We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting your heart to the Lord who is mighty to save and deliver. The Scriptures declare, *"He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed"* (Luke 4:18). We stand in agreement with you, believing that God is faithful to break every chain and set you free from all demonic influences, memories, and oppression.
First, we must address the authority we have in Christ. You rightly invoked the name of Jesus, and it is only through His name that we have power over the enemy. Jesus said, *"Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you"* (Luke 10:19). The blood of Jesus has already defeated Satan, and we stand on that victory. We rebuke every demonic spirit, every unclean memory, every sickness, and every impure influence in the mighty name of Jesus. We command them to flee and never return, for *"the Son of God was revealed to destroy the works of the devil"* (1 John 3:8).
We also recognize that impurity—whether in thought, deed, or influence—must be confessed and cleansed. The Word tells us, *"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). If there are areas in your life where sin has taken root, we encourage you to repent and turn away from them, trusting in God’s mercy and forgiveness. The Lord is near to those who call upon Him in truth (Psalm 145:18).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son and our Savior. We thank You for Your power and authority over all darkness. Lord, we lift up this dear one to You, asking that You would break every chain of demonic influence, memory, and possession. We rebuke every unclean spirit, every sickness, and every impure thought in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that the enemy has no place in their life.
Father, we ask that You would erase every demonic memory, sound, and word from their mind. Wash them clean by the blood of Jesus and renew their thoughts with Your truth. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in freedom and purity. Lord, if there is any unconfessed sin or impurity, reveal it to them so they may repent and receive Your forgiveness. We pray for complete healing—spirit, soul, and body—knowing that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
We declare that this one is a child of God, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, and no weapon of the enemy shall prevail against them. Strengthen them, Lord, and surround them with Your angels for protection. May they walk in the victory that Christ has already won for them. We thank You for Your deliverance and for the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is greater than any force of darkness. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable. Fill your mind with Scripture, for *"the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword"* (Hebrews 4:12), and it will guard your heart and mind. Walk in the light, and the darkness will not overcome you (John 1:5). You are not alone—God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).
