We lift up these precious souls to You, Lord, knowing that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us, *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5). We pray that those who do not yet know You would come to a saving knowledge of Your Son, for *"there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12).
Father, we intercede for these individuals—whether they are living or have passed—asking that Your Holy Spirit would convict their hearts of sin and draw them to repentance. For those still alive, we pray they would hear the Gospel, believe in Jesus, and receive eternal life. *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16). For those who have already died, we trust in Your perfect justice and mercy, knowing that *"it is appointed for men to die once, and after this, judgment"* (Hebrews 9:27). We pray that if they had not yet surrendered their lives to Christ, You would have revealed Yourself to them in their final moments.
Lord, we also pray for the people in their lives—family, friends, and acquaintances—who may not know You. Use these individuals as vessels of Your love and truth. Give them boldness to share the Gospel and wisdom to lead others to Christ. *"How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher?"* (Romans 10:14).
We rebuke any deception or spiritual blindness that may be keeping these souls from recognizing their need for a Savior. We declare that Your Word will not return void but will accomplish what You desire (Isaiah 55:11). We pray that every heart would be softened, every mind opened, and every life transformed by the power of the Gospel.
Heavenly Father, we also want to address the importance of living a life that reflects Your truth. For those who are saved, we pray they would walk in obedience to Your Word, fleeing from sin and pursuing holiness. *"For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we would live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present age"* (Titus 2:11-12). May their lives be a testimony to Your saving power, drawing others to You.
We lift up this prayer in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved. May Your will be done in each of these lives, and may Your kingdom come. Amen.
