We lift this request before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion and concern. First, we must address the foundation of salvation, for it is written, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16 WEB). Salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB).
If this individual, referred to as "###," has not confessed with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believed in their heart that God raised Him from the dead, they are in need of salvation (Romans 10:9). We pray fervently that the Holy Spirit would convict their heart, draw them to repentance, and lead them to place their faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. Father, we ask that You would remove any spiritual blindness, break the chains of sin, and open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Let them hear the voice of the Good Shepherd and respond in faith, for "today if you will hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts" (Hebrews 4:7 WEB).
We also lift up the people in this individual’s life. Lord, we ask that You would pour out Your Spirit upon them, revealing Your love, mercy, and grace. If they are lost, we pray that they would turn from their sins and trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We rebuke any deception or stronghold that may be keeping them from the truth, and we declare that the light of the Gospel will shine brightly in their lives. "For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart" (Hebrews 4:12 WEB).
Father, we also take a moment to examine our own hearts. Are we living in a way that reflects the love and truth of Christ? Are we sharing the Gospel with those around us? We ask for boldness and wisdom to be Your ambassadors, that others may come to know You through our words and actions. "Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven" (Matthew 5:16 WEB).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, the Way, the Truth, and the Life. May Your will be done in the life of this individual and all those connected to them. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. Amen.
