We come before the throne of grace with this heartfelt plea, lifting up this dear one who seeks deliverance and a heart of humility. Father, we thank You for the authority we have in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You and find salvation. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We declare that this request is heard because it is made in the name of Your Son, Jesus, who has overcome the world and all the powers of darkness.
Father, we pray that You would indeed bless this child of Yours with a heart of humility, as You resist the proud but give grace to the humble (James 4:6). May they walk in the spirit of Christ, who humbled Himself and became obedient to death, even death on a cross (Philippians 2:8). Lord, fill them with Your joy and peace, that they may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 15:13). Help them to fix their thoughts on what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy, may they think about such things (Philippians 4:8).
We stand firm in the authority of Jesus Christ to rebuke every demonic influence, possession, and attack aimed at this beloved one. The Word of God declares that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). We command every demonic spirit to flee in the name of Jesus, for He has given us authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm us (Luke 10:19). We declare that no weapon formed against this one shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we specifically address the request for deliverance from all evil music. We know that the enemy often uses subtle means to influence the mind and spirit, and music can be a powerful tool for either edification or corruption. We pray that You would guard this one’s ears and heart from anything that does not bring glory to Your name. May they be filled with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, making melody in their heart to You (Ephesians 5:19). Let everything that has breath praise the Lord (Psalm 150:6), and may this one’s life be a song of worship to You alone.
We come against every demonic influence with the fire of the Holy Spirit, declaring that they are crushed, destroyed, and burned to ashes in the name of Jesus. The Word says that the God of peace will soon crush Satan under our feet (Romans 16:20). We stand on this promise and declare that every chain is broken, every lie is exposed, and every stronghold is demolished. The blood of Jesus has redeemed this one, and they are no longer slaves to sin or the enemy’s schemes (Revelation 12:11).
Father, we ask that You would surround this dear one with Your angels, who are ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14). Let Your presence be a shield around them, and may they dwell in the secret place of the Most High, abiding under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1). We pray that they would know the height, depth, width, and breadth of Your love, which surpasses all understanding, and that they would be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:18-19).
Lord, we also pray for a spirit of discernment over this one, that they may test every spirit and hold fast to what is good (1 Thessalonians 5:21). Help them to resist the devil, and may he flee from them (James 4:7). Strengthen their faith, that they may stand firm in the armor of God, able to withstand the schemes of the enemy (Ephesians 6:11). May they be rooted and built up in Christ, strengthened in the faith as they have been taught, and overflowing with thankfulness (Colossians 2:7).
We declare that this one is more than a conqueror through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37). They are seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6), far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in this age but also in the one to come (Ephesians 1:21). We pray that they would walk in the victory that Christ has already won for them, living as children of light in a dark world.
Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the power of the name of Jesus. We trust in Your promises and declare that this one is delivered, healed, and set free. May they walk in the fullness of Your Spirit, bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:10). We commit this prayer into Your hands, knowing that You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to Your power that is at work within us (Ephesians 3:20). In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
