We lift this man before You, Father, with hearts full of hope and faith in Your saving grace. Your Word tells us, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). If this man has not yet surrendered his life to You, we pray that You would draw him near, open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel, and soften his heart to receive the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. Lord, we know that "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). May he come to know the power of Your name and the freedom found only in You.
We also pray for the people in his life—his family, friends, colleagues, and all who influence him. If any of them have not yet placed their trust in You, we ask that You would work in their hearts as well. Let them see the light of Christ through this man, and may they too be saved by Your grace. "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9). We trust in Your perfect timing and Your desire to bring all people to Yourself.
Father, we rebuke any spiritual strongholds or deception that may be keeping this man or his loved ones from knowing You. We declare that "the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them" (2 Corinthians 4:4). But we stand firm in the truth that "greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). We bind every lie of the enemy and release Your truth over their lives.
We pray that this man would experience Your love in a tangible way, that he would feel Your presence drawing him closer to You. May he come to understand that "while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8). Let him know that his past does not define him, and that in You, he can find forgiveness, purpose, and new life. If he is already a believer, we ask that You would strengthen his faith, deepen his walk with You, and use him as a light to those around him.
Lord, we also pray for godly influences in his life—people who will encourage him in his faith, speak truth into his life, and walk alongside him in his journey with You. Surround him with believers who will sharpen him, as iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17), and who will hold him accountable in love.
Father, we trust You with this man and his loved ones. We know that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun in each of us (Philippians 1:6). May Your will be done in their lives, and may they come to know You as their Lord and Savior if they have not already. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to You. Amen.
