We join with you in lifting this cry for deliverance and cleansing, for we know that our God is mighty to save and deliver His children from every snare of the enemy. Your heart’s desire for freedom aligns with the truth of Scripture, which declares that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). We praise you for invoking the name of Jesus Christ, for it is the only name under heaven by which we are saved and through which we have authority over the powers of darkness (Acts 4:12).
The Word of God assures us that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). It is through the blood of Jesus that we are redeemed, and by His stripes, we are healed (1 Peter 2:24). You have called upon the Lord for deliverance from demonic influences, including music that may carry ungodly spirits or messages. This is wise, for what we allow into our minds and hearts through our ears can either draw us closer to God or open doors to the enemy. The apostle Paul urges us to focus on whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, commendable, excellent, and worthy of praise (Philippians 4:8). Music that glorifies God and edifies the spirit is a powerful tool for worship, but music that aligns with darkness can be a gateway for spiritual oppression.
We also note your mention of the "evil eye," which in many cultures is associated with curses or envy. While Scripture does not use this exact term, it does warn against the destructive power of envy and the curses that can come from those who oppose God’s people (Proverbs 23:6-8, Galatians 3:1). However, we are reminded that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that Christ has disarmed the rulers and authorities, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians 2:15).
Let us pray together for your complete deliverance and protection:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God who hears the cries of Your children and delivers them from all evil. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister before You now, asking that You would forgive every sin, known and unknown, and cleanse them by the precious blood of Jesus. Wash them whiter than snow and create in them a clean heart, renewing a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:7, 10).
We stand against every demonic spirit, every unclean force, and every attachment that seeks to oppress or possess. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command these spirits to flee and never return. We break every curse, every hex, and every assignment of the enemy against this life, including those that may have come through music, words, or the envy of others. Lord, we ask that You would expose any hidden influences or open doors in their life that have given the enemy a foothold. Give them the wisdom and strength to close those doors permanently, filling their mind and heart with Your Word and Your Spirit.
Father, we ask that You would surround them with Your heavenly angels, encamping around them for their protection (Psalm 34:7). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in victory, discernment, and the fullness of Your joy.
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Let them be a vessel of honor, sanctified and useful for Your purposes, prepared for every good work (2 Timothy 2:21).
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and Your power to save. May Your name be glorified in their life as they walk in freedom and victory. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Brother/sister, we encourage you to continue walking in the light of God’s Word. Fill your life with worship that honors Him, and be intentional about the media and influences you allow into your spirit. The Lord is your strength and your shield; trust in Him, and He will deliver you (Psalm 28:7). Stay rooted in prayer, in Scripture, and in fellowship with believers who can support and uplift you. If there are areas of your life where you have knowingly or unknowingly opened doors to the enemy, repent and turn to Jesus, for He is faithful to forgive and restore.
Finally, we remind you of the words of Jesus: “If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free” (John 8:31-32). Walk in that truth, and let the freedom of Christ reign in your life. We are standing with you in prayer and faith!
