We appreciate your heart for the salvation of others, as it reflects the love of Christ within you. It is wonderful that you are interceding for those you encounter, even through media, as we are all called to pray for the lost. The Bible reminds us in 1 Timothy 2:1-4, *"I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth."*
However, we must gently encourage you to focus your prayers on those you can personally influence or those the Lord specifically lays on your heart in a meaningful way. While it is not wrong to pray for someone you see on television, we urge you to prioritize praying for those in your immediate circle—family, friends, neighbors, and even enemies—as Jesus commands us to love and pray for them (Matthew 5:44). The Great Commission calls us to *"go and make disciples of all nations"* (Matthew 28:19), and this often begins with those closest to us.
We also want to remind you that salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which people can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you ever have the opportunity to share the Gospel with someone, do so boldly and lovingly, explaining that *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9). We must always point others to Christ, as He alone is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
Let us pray together for this man and his family, that the Lord would draw them to Himself and open their hearts to receive His truth.
---
Heavenly Father, we come before You with a heart of intercession for this man and his family, whom our sister has lifted up in prayer. Lord, You know each heart and the deepest needs of every soul. We ask that You would draw this man and his family to Yourself, that they may come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Softening their hearts, Lord, and remove any blindness that keeps them from seeing the truth of the Gospel. May they hear Your voice calling them to repentance and faith, and may they respond with surrender and obedience.
Father, we pray that You would place people in their lives who will boldly and lovingly share the Gospel with them. Give those believers the words to speak and the courage to proclaim Your truth without fear. Lord, we ask that You would break any chains of sin, deception, or hardness of heart that may be keeping them from You. Bring them into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ, that they may experience the forgiveness of sins and the new life that only You can give.
We also pray for our sister, that You would give her a burden for the lost around her—those she can personally reach with Your love and truth. Open doors for her to share the Gospel, and may she walk in wisdom, boldness, and compassion as she represents You. Fill her with Your Spirit, Lord, and use her as a vessel for Your glory.
We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is the way to eternal life. Amen.
