Heavenly father pls kindly forgive i of all wrongdoings. to not search after other people or compare myself to others and not to think of people from my past or people from now or search for them. Pls kindly deliver i from past. To be like how i was before 9/2011. in jesus christ name. amen.

We join you in seeking God’s mercy and transformation, for we know that His grace is sufficient to cleanse us from all unrighteousness and restore us to a place of peace and purpose in Christ. Your heart’s cry for forgiveness and deliverance is one that aligns with Scripture, for we are called to cast our burdens upon the Lord and trust in His renewing power. The apostle John assures us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB). This is a promise we can cling to with confidence, knowing that God is not only willing but eager to forgive and restore those who come to Him in repentance.

Your struggle with comparison, lingering thoughts of the past, and the temptation to seek out others—whether from your history or present—is one many believers face. Yet the Word of God calls us to a higher standard: *"Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things"* (Philippians 4:8, WEB). The mind renewed by Christ does not dwell on what was or what others have, but fixes its gaze on Him who holds our future. The past, with all its regrets or nostalgic longings, is not where God is leading you. He declares through Isaiah, *"Don’t remember the former things, and don’t consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert"* (Isaiah 43:18-19, WEB). Your desire to return to a time before 9/2011 may stem from a longing for innocence or simplicity, but we must trust that God’s plan for you is not to revert to the past but to move forward into the new thing He is doing. He is making all things new—including you.

The enemy would love for you to remain shackled to memories, comparisons, or the illusion that happiness lies in revisiting what once was. But Christ has set you free for freedom—*"So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed"* (John 8:36, WEB). This freedom includes liberty from the snare of comparing yourself to others, which only breeds discontentment and distracts from the unique purpose God has for your life. The Psalmist reminds us, *"I praise you, because I am awesomely and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well"* (Psalm 139:14, WEB). You are fearfully and wonderfully made, not to measure up to others, but to reflect the image of Christ in a way only you can.

As for the past, whether it involves relationships, mistakes, or lost time, we must remember that *"he who is in Christ is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new"* (2 Corinthians 5:17, WEB). This does not mean the memories vanish, but their power over you is broken when you surrender them to Jesus. If there are specific sins tied to these thoughts—such as unforgiveness, lust, or idolatry of the past—we urge you to name them before the Lord and renounce them. For example, if your thoughts of others involve romantic or emotional attachments that are not honorable before God (such as past relationships that were not Christ-centered or current distractions from His will), you must treat these as strongholds to be demolished by the power of the Holy Spirit. *"For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ"* (2 Corinthians 10:3-5, WEB).

We also notice that your prayer is rightly concluded in the name of Jesus Christ, and we commend you for this. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me’* (John 14:6, WEB). This is a foundational truth that must anchor every prayer and every aspect of our lives. If you have not already, we encourage you to ensure that your faith is firmly placed in Christ alone for salvation, confessing Him as Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). This is the starting point for all true transformation.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up your child before You, thanking You that You are a God who forgives completely and restores abundantly. Lord, we ask that You wash over them with the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus, removing every stain of sin, every trace of guilt, and every chain of the past. Where there has been comparison, convict them of the uniqueness You have placed within them and redirect their focus to You alone. Where there have been lingering thoughts of people from the past or present—whether out of curiosity, longing, or temptation—we ask that You sever those ties by the power of the Holy Spirit. Break every ungodly soul tie and renew their mind to think on what is pure, lovely, and praiseworthy.

Father, we rebuked the enemy’s lies that would keep them bound to nostalgia or regret. The past is under the blood of Jesus, and the future is held securely in Your hands. We declare that they are a new creation in Christ, and old things—painful memories, sinful patterns, and distractions—have passed away. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding and guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

If there are areas of their life where they have not fully surrendered to You, reveal them now, Lord. Give them the courage to let go of anything that hinders their walk with You. If there are relationships or connections that are not honorable in Your sight, grant them the strength to release them and pursue holiness instead.

We ask that You restore to them the joy of Your salvation and the simplicity of a heart fully devoted to You. Let them not look to the left or the right, but straight ahead to the path You have set before them. May they walk in the freedom and victory that Christ has already won for them.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to actively replace old habits with new ones rooted in Scripture. When tempted to compare, meditate on Psalm 139:13-16 and thank God for how He has uniquely created you. When thoughts of the past arise, declare 2 Corinthians 5:17 aloud and ask the Holy Spirit to fill your mind with His truth. Consider memorizing Philippians 4:8 and reciting it when your thoughts wander. Surround yourself with believers who can hold you accountable and point you to Christ. And above all, seek first His kingdom and righteousness, trusting that He will add to your life everything you need (Matthew 6:33).

You are not alone in this journey. We stand with you in prayer, believing that God is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Keep pressing forward, dear saint. The best is yet to come.

Dear friend, we're here with you, praying alongside you. We understand the struggle of comparing ourselves to others and being haunted by thoughts of the past. But remember, God is making all things new, including you!

We're claiming 2 Corinthians 5:17 over you today: "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." The past doesn't define you; Jesus does. He's broken the chains of your past, and He's leading you into a future filled with hope and purpose.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your unfailing love and forgiveness. We ask that You help ### to let go of the past and embrace the new life You've given them in Christ. Help them to see their unique worth in Your eyes and to focus on the wonderful things You have in store for them.

We ask that You would reveal any areas of their life where they've been holding onto the past or comparing themselves to others. Give them the courage to let go of anything that hinders their walk with You.

We claim Your promise in Philippians 4:8: 'Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.'

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!
