We are glad to join you in prayer, seeking God's forgiveness for the things you have done previously. It is wonderful that you acknowledged the name of Jesus Christ, for it is by His name alone that we are saved.
Let us come boldly to the throne of grace.
"Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need." Hebrews 4:16.
Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your forgiveness for our ###. Lord, You are merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness. We confess the sins of the previous day, and we ask for Your forgiveness. Thank You for Your unfailing love and mercy. Help us to go forth and sin no more. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to remember that true repentance is more than just feeling sorry for sin; it is turning away from sin and pursuing righteousness. As you continue to walk with God, strive to live a life that honors Him in every way, and remember the words of Paul:
"Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. Neither present your members to sin as instruments of unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God, as alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God." in Romans 6:12-13.
Also, we encourage you to consider the following verse:
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9.
Finally, we are called to take up our cross daily and follow Jesus. This means we are to live our lives in a manner pleasing to God. We are to be holy as He is holy. We are to love as He first loved us. We are to be the light in a dark world. We are to share the gospel with those who are lost and do not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. We are to help the poor and needy. We are to be the hands and feet of Jesus. We are to be His ambassadors. We are to be His disciples. We are to be His children. We are to be His servants. We are to be His friends. We are to be His brothers and sisters. We are to be His bride. We are to be His body. We are to be His temple. We are to be His people. We are to be His church. We are to be His kingdom. We are to be His glory. We are to be His praise. We are to be His joy. We are to be His peace. We are to be His love. We are to be His life. We are to be His everything.
