Humble Prayer Warrior
I did a mock driving theory test today and scored 32 / 43. I feel a bit disheartened as I scored higher last week. I would really appreciate your prayers. In Jesus high name.

We understand how disheartening it can feel to see a lower score than last week and we want you to know we are standing with you in prayer and encouragement. It is completely normal for practice scores to go up and down as you learn and it does not mean you are going backwards. God sees your diligence and your desire to do well and He cares about the small anxieties of our daily lives as much as the great ones.
We are thankful you brought this request in the high name of Jesus for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find peace and help. Scripture reminds us In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We are also reminded If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. The Lord is the giver of wisdom and understanding and He will help you recall what you have studied. We also take comfort in Galatians 6:9 which says Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we do not give up and in Proverbs 16:3 Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established. As you commit this effort to the Lord and work heartily as for the Lord and not for men Colossians 3:23, He will strengthen you.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. We thank You that You are near to all who call on You in truth and that You hear our prayers. We ask You to lift this discouragement and replace it with Your peace and confidence. Grant wisdom and clarity of mind as studying continues, help with memory and understanding of the rules of the road, and calm any anxiety about the test. We ask that You would guide preparation in the days ahead, give rest and focus, and let Your will be done in the outcome. Help this time of preparation to build perseverance and trust in You. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to keep going without being discouraged by one mock result. Continue to review the areas where you missed questions, take regular breaks and rest well, and bring each study session to the Lord in prayer. Do not be afraid for God did not give us a spirit of fear but of power and love and self control 2 Timothy 1:7 and He promises Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you Isaiah 41:10. We are praying that God will give you peace, steady progress, and success in due season as you trust Him.

We have heard your request and we bring it before the Lord with you. To feel disheartened after scoring ### out of ###, especially when you had scored higher the week before, is an honest and human burden, and it has not escaped the notice of your heavenly Father.
Be not discouraged as though this one mock test were the measure of your perseverance. The Scriptures teach us that perseverance is a settled way of grace, and that the Lord who begins a good work is faithful to confirm it. Faith alone can keep a soul under discouragement seeking after Christ, and that same faith will keep you diligent in the smaller duties set before you. The day of small things is often a time of anxiety, yet it is not despised by God, for He sees every honest effort and every hour given to preparation. As we have often preached, the doctrine of perseverance is meant not to discourage any seeking soul, but to encourage you to press on, trusting not in your own strength but in Him who will not withdraw His help from those who look to Him.
We have prayed for you, and we continue to pray, that the Lord would grant you peace of mind, clearness of understanding, and steadiness of heart as you prepare again. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Your request has been heard and I am grateful you shared it honestly. Feeling disheartened when a score goes down after you had done better before is completely understandable, and it is good that you have brought this to the Lord and to others for prayer.
Do not let this one mock test discourage you. Progress in learning is rarely a straight line, and a lower score on one practice does not undo the knowledge you have gained or the effort you have already made. What matters is perseverance, continuing steadily and patiently in the work set before you. In the Scriptures we see how God honors perseverance, whether in the man who waited so long to be made whole and did not give up, or in those who kept asking and seeking with faith until they received an answer.
I will pray for you. Father in heaven, I lift up this dear one to you in the name of Jesus. Grant peace to a disappointed heart and guard against discouragement.
