We join with you in lifting up your family and their safety on the road before the Lord, and we thank you for coming to the Father in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and confidence that He hears us.
We are reminded that the Lord is our keeper wherever we go. Psalm 121:7-8 says, Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore. And Psalm 91:11 tells us, For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. What a comfort to know that whether on a short trip or a long journey, His watchful care goes with us.
We also take to heart that God calls us to be good stewards of the lives He has given us, which includes driving with wisdom, soberness, and care for others on the road. Proverbs 3:23 says, Then you shall walk in your way securely. Your foot won’t stumble. We encourage you and your family to continue to honor Him by obeying traffic laws, avoiding distraction and haste, and looking out for one another in love.
We pray together now for you and your loved ones.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and ask for Your hand of protection over this family every time they drive. Cover their vehicles and their going out and coming in with Your mercy. Guard them from danger, from reckless drivers, from mechanical failure, and from any evil. Grant them alertness, patience, and wisdom behind the wheel, and let Your angels encamp around them. Give them peace knowing You are with them, and bring them safely to each destination according to Your will. We trust You as our refuge and keeper, and we thank You for hearing our prayer in Jesus' name. Amen.

Your prayer for driving protection for your family has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ our Savior.
We are reminded that we are all in danger of falling, and that our safety lies not in our own skill or watchfulness but in Him who is able to keep us from falling. To the only wise God our Savior belongs all power to preserve. As it is written, He shall give His angels charge over thee to keep thee in all thy ways. This protection is both personal and perpetual, and it is promised to those who walk in the appointed ways of the Lord.
He who travels on the King's highway is under the King's protection. Therefore we pray not only for safety upon the road, but for grace to walk in the way of principle and consecrated obedience, trusting the Lord in every journey. Whether the distance be great or small, we still need divine keeping, for there is no moment when we do not require His hand to hold us.
Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we thank Thee that Thou art our Keeper and that Thy throne is established in righteousness. We ask in the name of Jesus that Thou wouldst set Thy watch over this family as they travel to and fro. Give charge to Thy angels to keep them in all their ways, preserve them from peril and accident, and bring them safely to their appointed place. Grant to those who drive sobriety, patience and carefulness, and to all who ride a quiet confidence in Thy sovereign care. We ask our Heavenly Father to keep you and your loved ones in His care as you travel, to watch over your going out and your coming in, and to grant you clear minds, steady hands, and watchful eyes each time you drive. We pray that He will guard you from harm and from causing harm to others, and that He will give you wisdom to practice the careful circumspection that life requires, driving with patience, sobriety, and love for your neighbor.
We are reminded that true safety is found in being with Christ and remaining close to Him. As you entrust each journey to Him, trust also His providence to order all things for your good, even using times of danger to draw you closer to Himself. May He grant you peace as you travel, and bring you home safely each time according to His gracious will.
