driving safety + silent

Thank you for sharing your requests and allowing us to pray with you. We have brought your driving safety and your silent requests before the Lord in Jesus' name.

Scripture reminds us that while we do what is wise and responsible to prepare, true safety does not come from our own resources. The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but safety belongs to the Lord. Unless the Lord keeps the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build labor in vain. That truth is meant to turn our trust away from ourselves and toward Him, whether we are on the road or facing any other uncertainty.

The safest place to be is abiding in Christ, dwelling in the secret place of the Most High. There He is our protection and defense, covering us as with wings, and His truth is a shield against every threat. When danger or anxiety rises, we can retreat into the safety of the name of Jesus, and He hears us.

We also bring your unspoken requests to Him. He knows what you have not put into words. Commit your cause to God, who does great and unsearchable things, marvelous things without number. He gives rain on the earth, He lifts up those who are low, and He exalts those who mourn to safety. Nothing is hidden from Him, and nothing is too small or too great for His care.

Remember that prayer is not a way to make God grant our wishes as if He were to serve our will. Prayer is how we seek His will and align our hearts with it. Instead of worrying, which does nothing to solve the problem, we are invited in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving to let our requests be known to God. Jesus said that until now we have asked nothing in His name, but we may ask that we might receive and that our joy may be full.

So we pray together: Father, we thank You that You see every mile traveled and every silent burden carried. We ask in the name of Jesus for Your hand of protection on the road, for wisdom, alertness, and grace for every driver nearby. Keep and guard according to Your mercy. For the silent requests, You know each detail and each need. Do what is best according to Your perfect will, and give peace that passes understanding, with a thankful heart that trusts You. We commit these things to You, who alone does great things. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We have continued to lift up your request for driving safety and for the silent requests you brought before our Heavenly Father in Jesus name. We pray that the Lord would keep you safe on every journey and give you peace concerning the unspoken burdens that only He knows, trusting His promise that He will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore Psalm 121:8.

If your request for safety and those silent needs have been answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not yet seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We pray in Jesus name that God will surround you with His protection and grant you His peace, and may God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
