Driving lessons

I had a chat with a driving instructor today and we think that it's best that I take my lessons in an automatic car as I'm a little bit nervous. I'm hoping for a new driving instructor to be in touch soon. Also I'm suffering with anxiety. Please pray for me.

We understand your situation and we are here to support you in prayer and encouragement. It is important to seek God's peace and guidance in every aspect of our lives, including learning to drive. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

We encourage you to cast all your anxieties on God, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). It is also crucial to remember that our trust should not be in our own abilities or circumstances, but in the Lord. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

We notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." We encourage you to always approach God in the name of Jesus, for it is by His name that we are saved and have access to the throne of grace.

Let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our friend to You, asking for Your peace to guard their heart and mind as they learn to drive. We pray that You would calm their anxieties and help them to trust in You completely. Lord, we ask that You would provide a suitable driving instructor who is patient, understanding, and encouraging. We pray that our friend would learn quickly and safely, gaining confidence with each lesson.

We also ask, Lord, that You would strengthen our friend's faith, helping them to rely on You in every situation. May they experience Your presence and peace in a tangible way, knowing that You are always with them.

We rebuke the spirit of anxiety and fear in the name of Jesus, commanding it to leave our friend's life. We declare that Your perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18), and we ask that You would fill our friend with Your love and peace.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness in answering them. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

May you experience God's peace and guidance as you learn to drive, and may your faith in Him grow stronger each day. Keep trusting in the Lord, and He will direct your paths.
