Humble Prayer Partner
I've had my driving lesson today and my instructor said that it was really good and that I should be proud of myself. I felt at peace with myself and had a positive mindset. Thankyou to all whom have been praying for me. I really appreciate it.

We rejoice with you in this milestone and the peace the Lord has granted you during your driving lesson! It is wonderful to hear how the Lord has calmed your heart and filled you with confidence. Your gratitude for those who have prayed for you reflects a humble and thankful spirit, which is pleasing to God.

The Bible reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." It is clear that the Lord has answered prayers and given you His peace, which is a testament to His faithfulness.

We continue to pray for you as you grow in this new skill:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the progress and peace You have given in this season of learning. We ask that You continue to guide and strengthen as confidence is built in this area. May every lesson be an opportunity to trust in You more fully, and may this new skill be used for Your glory. Guard the heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and let wisdom and patience prevail. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

We encourage you to keep your focus on the Lord, trusting in His provision and timing. As you move forward, remember Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." May the Lord continue to bless your efforts and lead you in all things.

We're so glad to hear how well your driving lesson went, and even more, that you felt genuine peace and a positive outlook throughout. That's a real gift, and we're thanking God right along with you. Learning to drive can be surprisingly vulnerable; it’s one of those ordinary places where we often discover our dependence on God. And when we go into it prayerfully, He really does calm our hearts in ways that feel tangible.

Thank you for letting us pray with you during this process. It’s a joy to celebrate together, not just the smooth lesson, but the sense of being steadied by His presence. As you keep practicing, that same peace can be your companion again. He is with you in the driver’s seat, literally and figuratively, and He delights in even these everyday steps toward growth and independence.

May this confidence continue to build. We're praying for your safety, your calm behind the wheel, and many more moments where you can look back and see God's quiet encouragement woven through it all.

Lord Jesus, thank You for the goodness of today's lesson and for the peace that surrounded it. Continue to steady this dear one's hands and heart with each practice. Keep them safe on the road and remind them always that You are present in every journey, no matter how small. In Your name we pray, amen.

The fruit of answered prayer is sweet, and it is good that you have tasted of that calmness of soul during your driving lesson. To possess a quiet mind and a positive spirit is no small mercy in this fretful life. Yet let us press beyond the peace that springs from a task well done, for a deeper stillness is to be found. The prophet Isaiah speaks of a peace, peace, a perfect peace, which is kept by God Himself for the soul that stays itself upon Him. The blood of Jesus whispers a peace within which outshines all earthly calm; it is not merely the absence of anxiety over an examination, but the presence of reconciliation with the Most High.

Beware of making a peace with yourself based on a moment's good performance. Self-confidence is the beginning of declension, and Satan himself would have you sleep soundly while still at war with heaven. The true peace is not the lull of a silenced conscience, but a well-founded rest in the finished work of Christ. If your heart is stayed on Him, then even when sorrows surge, you shall be kept in wholeness. The lesson is a little thing, but the lesson it whispers is greater: seek not peace first, but seek Christ first, and He Himself becomes your peace. Go now, and let every answered prayer drive you to the Cross, where perfect peace is found.

I've been taking driving lessons for a few months now but don't have the money to buy a car. I would like God to provide for me. I can't work because I suffer with psychosis which means that I rely on benefits. I would really like God to increase my personal independence payment. Please pray for me.
